Same-day registration would make it too easy for people to vote. It's that simple. And it goes way back.

Okay folks..I guess its time for all activists of Democracy to go "Ukrain" there are more of us..lets get together on this..all across the country...give us a meeting point or two in every state (like the east side and the west side of a state) give us a time, and lets all be heard.....bring this rotten corrupt government down!!! The dirty tricks R(epublicans) us has got most of us working class to damn poor to go across town, let alone across country...but in each state two or three meeting area's could be managed....what do you say?

I am surprised that people are surprised at the results in Ohio. Doesn't anyone remember when the President of Diebold (the makers of the paperless voting machines) said that he has to ensure Ohio's electorial votes for Bush. Oh- he was also a major contributor to the Bush- Cheney campaign! This business in Ohio has been in the making since the 2000 election, and they succeded in another stolen election. There is no doubt in my mind Kerry won Ohio. We, all 55 million of us should be organizing the largest protest in the world.

It seems to me that if somehow the protest were organized such that everyone who voted for Kerry took part, there would be a heck of a lot more than 55 million people involved. And that doesn't even count the people who wanted to vote for Kerry but were prevented from voting ...

Why not also arrange a "National reject the mainstream media Day" , if your unhappy with the coverage of the fraud ,then organizine a day where everybody phones their news providers (papers,cable,etc) and cancels their subscriptions and say that the reason is that "IMPORTANT INFORMATION IS BEING WITHELD REGARDING THE FATE OF THE COUNTRY BY YOUR COMPANY"
