Hello Brad Friedman,

I hope you take at a minimum "the bear necessities".

Let's hope that any bear you meet is:

1) At least as cute as the one in the picture,

2) Not hungry or threatened,

3) Appreciates a journalist who actually tries his best to get at the facts and get them right, who deeply cares about our democracy, is even willing to give kudos to people from the "other side" when they stand up for what's right), and who sprinkles a lot of fun videos and pictures in and among all the serious hard-hitting articles.
