Congressman John Conyers (D-MI) has announced in a letter released today that he will officially object to the Ohio Electors when a joint session of Congress convenes on January 6th to either ratify — or set-aside, as the case may be — the official results of the Electoral College.
In his letter, Conyers, who has been leading the Minority effort in the U.S. House Judiciary Committee to investigate the hundreds of reports of Election Irregularities, Supression of Voters, and possible Recount Malfeasance, states “I and a number of House Members are planning to object to the counting of the Ohio votes, due to numerous unexplained irregularities in the Ohio presidential vote, many of which appear to violate both federal and state law.”

This is another great post, Brad, and I am happy to see some promising ‘action items’ front and center again.
I hope everyone will stop arguing with the so-called attorney for a while and work to make their thoughts and feelings known to the people who are actually in a position to help us.

I would also urge everybody in this forum to email, call, fax, snail mail, Fed Ex or UPS Election Fraud 2004 issues to your Senators & congressmen or congresswomen. Tell them that if they want your vote in the next election they better act. Writing to your local guys is more effective as their job is dependent on you.

Conyers to object to Electoral College, historical event, but I can’t find mention of it in Palm Beach Post, NY Times or Wash. Post . I have contacted them, waiting for reply, perhaps I missed the article, perhaps they are unable to multitask. As for the Senators, I have been emailing them for weeks, I get form notes/letters back, should I do it again, or is twice enough?

I am writing to request that you support Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich, in his effort to debate the irregularities in the Ohio election this year (2004). He is requesting an open debate about the electoral count there.
I have closely monitored the issues and there is something terribly wrong. In my state of California we rejected the voting machines that are incredibly ill advised in their current condition. They beg fraud as currently configured. Until this is fixed we can be accused of having a demockracy rather than a democracy.
Imagine this email from bloggers in Ukrania:

We were once not free and were without elections. We once were communist and called "The Ukraine", but now we have free elections and are "Ukrainia".

It is said that: "One such felon, a 23-count embezzler named [name omitted], who specialized in computer fraud, was made a director of Global Election Systems in 2000, and then was assigned to be the head of research and development, with access to all components of the most sensitive parts of the voting system. The other, a cocaine traffickernamed [name withheld], has directed the sensitive punch-card printing for both Global and Diebold, and has had involvement with the processing of incoming absentee ballots. Elder is still running the printing division for Diebold."

One candidate in our pending election was poisioned, and other wrongs transpired. There were cries about "conspiracy nuts" but here we still take elections seriously, and any reasonable suggestions of vote fraud are investigated.
We listened to nuts and dismissed them. We listened to disinformation put out by those calling everyone who complained about the poisioning a conspiracy nut and dismissed them.
We dismissed everything but solid evidence. And we finally had a re-vote, not just a re-count.
Democracy is strong and growing stronger here because valid evidence prevails. We search out the truth.
Follow our example and spread democracy everywhere … starting with Ohio.

Otherwise you are heading in the direction of giving new meaning to "your last election".
