Conyers is one brave, intelligent man who knows what needs to be done and is trying with everything he has to do it. I wish there were a whole lot more like him!

mold after he was made. Imagine his life, one
battle after another. Makes my heart hurt.

Conyers kinda reminds me of Morgan Freeman in the sense of kindness and dignity.

I emailed Conyers at his website a few days ago, telling him how grateful Americans are to him. Seems a bit slender, what with all the balls he's juggling, but what more can we do? Stay in the trenches, I guess. This battle means more to him that comfort or his own individual life.

I'm beginning to see something amazing and truly special about this Conyers chap.
I am not one to believe in politicians, but this might change my hardheaded opinion.
He is a lone wolf, though, and I think that's what it takes. Back to Freebird and Henry D. Thoreau, and their comments about nonconformity.

This is what I always want to see. People standing up for principles, for no other reason than that they can't possibly do otherwise.

And Brad, what a spokesman for the disenfranchised you are.
