Hooray! I finally got a link to work --- and I'm listening now!
I don't want to say I'm jealous of everyone who has been listening since the beginning of the show ... but it would be true!

:D I was real pleased I got in to talk and was my pleasure to get to thank you in person. LOL now you know what I sound like. It was a delight to be on.
Would love to tell you what has transpired some with TrueVote in Maryland if you discuss voting again. Linda Schade heads TrueVote but just plain weird stuff happening here . . its the democrats here that are in bed with Diebold and the Republicans are all worried the Democrats are going to cheat like Washington State.
They never brought our bill up for the VVPAT and instead passed a 'decoy" bill which is called "The Study Bill". But we already had SAIC and Avi Rubins and another assess the system. And SAIC was not favorable to DRE's but Redacted most of their report . and passed DRE's for use in MD.
And all this after we, myself included, testified at the state house. Crazy stuff . . .I don't get it.
Cheers!
:D

The organization for voting reform in Maryland is called TrueVoteMD. Linda Schade and several others are our heros and have been lobbying for a Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail, I believe since 2002 elections. I found them through PC World Magazine, since until the chimp lord took over, I was happily employed as a tech.
Politics is SUCH an ugly business. From the way I understand it, Maryland was awarded 77 million to "modernize" their voting system. A DIFFERENT Linda, Linda Lamone (democrat), is head of the MD Board of Elections and chose Diebold's Accuvote, although I believe we had Sequoia machines in Baltimore City. And she happily gave our 77 million, I guess since she though it would be a feather in her cap, to be the first state to "modernize".
She even went as far to say the voting machines were NOT "computers" and they did not calculate anything and that they were not networked, nor connected to the internet. And the democrats here all fell in line behind her and backed her claims fully.
I, along with others of TrueVote (the good guys), went down and spoke before the House Ways and Means Committee. And I could NOT BELIEVE how rude these "democrats" on the committee were. I could not believe they were "democrats". For example I was told I had 3 minutes to speak, so I prepared a speech, trimed it and timed it, and the democrat leading the committee cut us off at 2 minutes and NONE too politely. Same mentality as Dr. Pastor toward Brad. "We are not listening to you."
She acted as though she were disgusted she even had to listen to us. Not Only that, but about a third of the committe were talking amongst themselves or doing anything BUT listening to us. To the point where the lady who spoke after me reprimanded them as we had driven hours in the snow to get there.
I guess I would consider myself "ANYTHING" but Republican, but OMG ! And one of these people is looking to run for US Senate, a Ben Cardin (D), and he was one of those that put forth a Decoy bill to add a layer of Cryptography on our current DRE system that STILL would not produce a paper trail. His bill did not pass but the "Study" bill did.

Hi, JPentz - probably you have already concluded this - but, like a wolf in sheeps clothing, these are RepubliCONS in Demo labels. Are you looking at new people like independents, Greens to replace these people in the future? Time to very carefully scrutinize everyone running for a governmental position to ensure he/she is not an expert liar and imposter. Meanwhile, thank you and your friends for all your hard work. Keep it up. It's sooooo important. My bet is with the American people.
