John Aravosis at AMERICAblog has the skinny based on ABC’s report last night of how the inept and irresponsible Bush clan seems to have helped to blow our only mole inside of al-Qaeda. An act, which Aravosis contends, helped lead directly to the London Bombings last week.
No, he’s not suggesting that Bush was behind the bombings. Just that his arrogance, and desperate need to do and say anything to retain power in this country prior to the election last year, seems to have helped lose an asset by British law enforcement officials which might have avoided the deaths of 53 Brits and the injuries of hundreds more in those attacks.
Given how many deaths Bush’s arrogance has led directly to in Iraq, we suspect England should consider themselves lucky. So far.
Aravosis has done a superb job of connecting the dots.

People have said to me that they agree Bush is not "very bright", to put it politely, but that he is surrounded by "intelligent people" to guide him. Of course, they assume a stupid person will be smart enough to surround himself with smart people (doh!). For Peggy: The problem with the "Bush surrounds himself with intelligent people" argument is that whenever an intelligent person (Powell, Shinseki, O’Neill, Clarke, Wilson, Whitman) tells Bush something he doesn’t want to hear, he 1) considers it an act of disloyalty, and 2) gets rid of said person.
There is no value in a dumb person’s surrounding himself with smart people if the dumb person never listens except when the smart people tell him what he wants to hear.

Oil prices are about supply and demand. Two countries do not currently have the infrastructure to determine how much oil they need. Those two countries are Russia and China. Their demand is very high; therefore, the supply is low, creating higher prices. That is all there is to it. Plus, we have not built a refinery since the 1970s.

We are still technically at war with N. Korea. Bush mentioned the "AXIS of Evil" and long long time ago and he has been 100% right.

If Iraq failed to abide by 17 U.N. resolutions, why does that impose on the UNITED STATES a duty to go to war?
We aren’t the U.N. In fact, we don’t always pay our dues, and the guy Bush wants to send over there hates the U.N. So what in the name of Dag Hammerskjold do U.N. resolutions have to do with our invasion of Iraq?

WhatReallyHappened.com and several other sites have been gathering facts all along and it looks certain that the London bombings were gamed, not unlike 9/11. I know that everything we read isn’t the truth, but the evidence gathered thus far screams for an independant investigation. You are correct. The 2 greatest accomplishments of the Clinton years were balancing the budget and welfare reform. Both were reached because of a Republican congress and all Bill had to do was sign the bills. He reluctantly signed welfare reform.
Surplus? Those were future predictions. Things always change. If I make $100,000 this year I can predict that I will make at least $100,000 next year. However, I could become unemployed and my prediction becomes null and void.
We are now in a war. A costly war. A war that will last for many years. We need to drain the swap. We need to kill all of the roaches. Iraq is part of that war. A cease fire in the Gulf War of 1991 and then the first UN resolution. Iraq did not comply and continued to fire at our planes and the UN had to come up with 16 more resolutions. That is a joke! It shows hoe irrelevant the UN really is. Someone’s got to be a force for peace and not those wimps
