   Interesting article yesterday in the NY Times arts section where a couple of psychiatrists (one of them, I believe, has a book published about the Psychology of the Sopranos) dismantle the dream, and talk about how extraordinary it was. Varying opinions. Check it out if you can.

   I appreciated the creative effort, but frankly I was bored. Heavy-handed symbolism, and I didn’t learn much beyond what I had already gleaned while sitting through this hit-and-miss season.

   One or two small surprises (Bening was an irritating stroke of madness/genius), but overall a waste of my time. This episode was really the filler before the two-part season finale. They should have just written a three-part season finale, and saved me the week-long aggravation.
