In an attempt to beat the inevitable and still save some face, Rep. Bob Ney has announced that he will agree to step down from his seat of power as the House Administration Committee Chairman.
According to the Associated Press:
“Unfortunately it has become clear to me in recent days that the false allegations made against me have become a distraction to the important work of the House Republican Conference and the important work that remains ahead for the House Administration Committee,” Ney said in a written statement.
It appears that Bob Ney will continue in the same vein as Tom Delay and kick and scream and deny all the way to court.

Innocent men of character don’t yield in the face of false allegations. They stand their ground and fight.
Hastert, who asked Ney to step down, must be a conspiracy theorist. Or, maybe he’s a liberal kook. Or a pathetic loser.
Maybe its time Hastert step down himself?
He is under investigation for multiple forms of bribes….while Ney, has only been found guilty of ONE quid-quo-pro involving a little over $10,000 the lawyers say so far….

Mark Crispin Miller (author of "Fooled Again…" and New York University professor) is the subject of a two-part Buzzflash interview (see buzzflash.com).
He argues that Coingate (Tom Noe’s scam in Ohio wherein the state Workmen’s Comp. fund bought $50 million of Noe’s rare coins as an "investment," gave him the job of supervising the fund, only to have $14 million unaccounted for at last report) was in fact a calculated attempt to pay the costs of election fraud.
He doesn’t say exactly how this was done, though. Maybe he will in the second interview. It makes sense circumstantially. Noe was the G.O.P. political boss in Northwestern Ohio, and his wife was an election supervisor (conflict # 1). Noe’s coins were never a suitable investment from a fiduciary standpoint (conflict # 2), and he most definitely should never been allowed to manage the fund for the Workmen’s Compensation board (conflict # 3).
What’s needed now is proof that the missing $14 million wound up in the hands of people directly connected to the 2004 election in Ohio. I suspect it will come out during the discovery process in the Diebold suits.
Ney has to go to his room for awhile. Daddy Hastert will try to clean up his mess.
Then everyone will cross their fingers and hope it blows over.

Big Dan, media watchdog, wants to point out the missing MSM reporting on the overall corruption of the Republican party, by not running media stories tying all the GOP dirty deeds together for the overall picture of how the POC (party of corruption) is breaking laws all over the place, stepping down all over the place, breaking civil liberties left and right, solely the party benefitting from unexplainable election results (I can go on and on). The MSM is not telling all these GOP corruption stories, let alone tying it all together under the title, "Party Of Corruption."

I have proof what Mark Miller is saying is true. Thomas Noe was convicted of money laundering over $100,000 into state campaign funds and into the Bush/Cheney fund.
His wife oversaw several periods of election fraud in just Lucas County alone.
And finally, Thomas Noe is tied straight to Paul Misfud, someone he worked with regularly in the volatile "Catholic" branch where Reverend Parsley and others dwell.
On top of that, Misfud was sent to prison but he worked with Senator Voinovich at the time who had no idea they were "laundering money into state campaign funds" and this has been proven in court.
It would show the results are indeed fraudulent if and when a full discovery process gets underway, and as for it being tied to Jack Abramoff…..that’s unknown until we see how the Noe money actually intersects with Robert Ney.
