Maybe the President should see the film. It might educate him and eliminate some the the stereotypes he must believe. Speaking of movies: I just saw The Hunting of the President this evening. It's not bad, but they could've made it about 3 times longer and done a much better job. I wonder if some part of my money goes to Hillary's campaign fund? I hope not.

Then Bush momentarily stares off into space like he's listening briefly and repeats and "I hadn't seen it' , which of course is grammatically incorrect but was Bush's first real response.

A classic example was when they were talking about the new scramjet engine they were testing at NASA. The test plane achieved a speed of approx. 7 times the speed of sound.

Thanks to that brave young student who flustered President Bush by asking if he had seen Brokeback Mountain last Monday at Kansas State University. Bush's response demonstrated his total lack of ability to think on his feet and to deliver a coherent answer to an unscripted question.

Another astonishing moment, barely remarked upon by the press, was when a student asked about the $12.7 blllion recently cut from federal student loan programs. After feigning ignorance of the cuts, Bush then tried to convince us that the student loan program has been reformed and made better. Many of my students could inform you otherwise.

By the way, regardless of what the White House press secretary claimed, the kid asking Bush about Brokeback Mountain never claimed that he was rancher. Also, contrary to the press secretary's claims, most of the KSU faculty did not attend. In fact, there were many vacant seats in the section allotted to the faculty.

Did everyone hear? Bush is starring in the sequel to Brokeback Mountain. It's to be titled "Cokehead Mountain."

MANHATTAN, Kan. --- Asked his opinion of the movie "Brokeback Mountain," President Bush hemmed and hawed.

"You would love it. You should check it out," a man in the audience told Bush Monday during a question and answer session at Kansas State University.

After some hesitation --- and laughter in the audience --- Bush said, "I'd be glad to talk about ranching, but I haven't seen the movie." The audience laughed some more, and Bush, who owns a ranch in Texas, allowed that, "I've heard about it."

"Brokeback Mountain" is a cowboy romance about two ranch-hand buddies who conceal a long homosexual affair from their families. The movie has won four Golden Globe prizes, including best picture honors in the drama category.

You know what? I am an out homosexual. I thought, with the rest of America, that it was hilarious that he hadn't seen brokeback mountain. I will be the first one to insult Bush and kick him to the curve. I believe the homophobe has never even taken the time to talk to a real homosexual. But just because a person hasn't seen the movie doesn't mean they intend to insult gays. Previously stated, I am a homosexual too, but because I am still living under my conservative parents house and do not have my own car, I cannot see the movie. And for that matter, why was any of the movies? CRASH, CAPOTE, etc. None of these movies made over 100 million but the Chronicles of Narnia made 300 million and was not nominated for best picture.
