Good news John!
Pennsylvania is passing a VVPB law as well and finally taking in Vote Pad!
That means Georgia, Texas, and of course Ariizona, North Dakota and Idaho are some of the last remaining states....
We must make sure of, and especially Utah, that the law is passed and they switch to vote-pad or something simple!
I'm going to be working on Utah, Arizona is coming along.....Its ALSO time to work for instant-runoff voting and just go all the way now

The gerrymandering case in the Supreme Court may be the biggest voting news of this election year. It would effect all states where gerrymandering has taken place.
Tom DeLay is responsible for the gerrymandering in Texas which gave the GOP increases it would not have received but for the gerrymandering.
It was approved over the objections of the career lawyers in the DOJ. Bush political appointees overruled the objections, and the gerrymandering went forward.
If the Supreme Court holds the gerrymandering to have been done illegally, it could have a favorable effect for democratic and independent candidates.

Alito decided his case. Anyone here know how he voted and in what case? Most of you probably dont because it would never be covered here. The 'press' nees to keep the picture of him painted as they want to see him not as how he really is.

Ricky I suspect no one will listen but Alito isn't the really bad judge the left wants to paint him as.....I HAVE studied the whole record....Alito is not only against the crazies in the White House, but he's a fairly open minded judge compared to Scalia or Thomas....
Either way the folks will just have to agree to disagree.....the election case for instant runoff voting needs to go to court. That is what we must pass into law. I just hope John Paul Stevens does not retire for a while since he's always been the best judge to me.....
