As Max Blumenthal mentioned at RAW, Coulter is the “rock star” of CPAC, and the complete audio of the event of her address (now posted below) complete with hysterical cheers from the adoring jam-packed crowd, of the event bears that out.

Ann Coulter, speaking before a standing-room-only crowd, expressed racist views, said she wanted liberal Supreme Court Justices to be killed and explained that she once had a chance to kill President Clinton, but thought that would be a career-stopper. I emailed the Secret Service last night about Glenn Beck’s hate speech and incitement to murder Jimmy Carter, AND emailed CNN that I would not watch them, and would ask everyone else not to watch them, until he was fired. I think people should be emailing the Secret Service about Coulter too. This is a downright Satanic Circus atmosphere, AND IT HAS TO STOP.

When they talk to these adoring crowds of maniacs of such things, they are advocating for them. Not only is it horrifying, it is taking the first amendment OVER the cusp between a right and a crime. Don’t automatically assume the Secret Service would notice in this Orwellian atmosphere. Doesn’t seem as if many here are noticing. Some people bringing it to the attention of the authorities in charge of protecting presidents might at least yield a cautionary visit to the offenders.

What we need is uplifting leadership from our Democratic politicians. The fact that we do not have such leaders, at the moment, should be the impetus for change in our party.
