Many of us worked long and hard with folks in Mississippi to keep out the Diebold TSx machines their SoS was pushing on them. One of our cautions was that cash-strapped counties would end up having to buy more machines in order to have enough. That concern is being borne out in counties across the state. Humboldt Co., California gets a look at the Vote-PAD and likes what they saw. In Iowa there is talk that Gov. Vilsack may take a cue from New Mexico Gov. Richardson and push for a paper ballot….

You said "Many of us worked long and hard with folks in Mississippi to keep out the Diebold TSx machines their SoS was pushing on them".
I applaud you for your good work.
For those interested in the gerrymandering cases before the US Supreme Court, and specifically an analysis of the oral argument, and potential outcome, here is some discussion.
I urge all concerned citizens to contact Sean Hannity’s website host and complain about his outrageous website.

Do you guys think this STRANGE L.A. Times story is worthy of investigation by BradBlog?
Ferrari Case Takes New Twist With Possible Tie to Bus Agency
Read this story – it is stranger than fiction. It involves Homeland Security, $1 million Ferraris, and privately owned NON-profit anti-terrorism units!
Your head will literally spin after you read this story. I want BradBlog to investigate! Consider the implications!

It belongs in another thread, since it is unlikely to have anything to do with voting and elections.
When I read some of the story, I figured it is a pork barrel deal of some kind where the people and the treasury are being bilked.
Remember it is in the vicinity of the republican congressman who was just sentenced to 8 years in prison for corruption.
You know, the missing story on this could be that the troll Wally was delivering a diebold election machine to the california Secretary of State …
Corruption these days hovers around voting and war profiteering. Follow the money.
