After being suddenly tossed off the air to make room for yet another religious station in Arizona, Air America Phoenix has found a new home and begins a new broadcast day at Midnight tonight!
They will now be heard at KPHX 1480 AM in Phoenix, or via aaphx.com on the web! Congrats folks! And welcome back! Arizona needs ya now more than ever!
And thanks to all of those BRAD BLOG readers who answered our calls for action in support of AAR Phoenix over the last month or two! It’s nice to win one every now and again, huh?
But more good news for progressives in Phoenix, as the smartest man on radio, Peter B. Collins, will begin airing out there as well (on a different station, I believe) beginning the week after next. And judging by his brilliant regular Friday afternoon guest (5:20p PT), I’d say Phoenix is in for an embarrasment of Progressive riches! UPDATE: Peter B. contacts us to say he’ll be on KPHX as well! His show will air on tape delay at 10p-1a Mon-Fri!

We are going to need it. I am watching John McCain on "meet the press" right now and I am sad to see what he has become, I voted for him in the 2000 primary. Air America, Arizona needs the light.
Now, just make sure plenty of people LISTEN!! And yes, McCain’s the biggest fake-out (sell-out?) since Joe Lieberman.
Now they don’t have to listen to Rush Lim-BOOB, Sean "Let Freedom Ring (but not the truth) Hannity, and Bill O’LIE-ly. And 12 Corporate-Christ pseudo-Christian radio bullcrappers.
When these guys write (I use the term "write" loosely) a book, all their books look alike. It has a huge picture of their ugly face in front of a flag, with a title like "Let Freedom Ring", or "Oh, Say Can You See", or "By the Dawn’s Early Light"…what a bunch of idiots!!! I saw some of Sean Hannity’s book at a bookstore, and I thought they had a lot of copies of his book…then I realized it was several different books, all with a big picture of his ugly face with a flag behind it, with a patriotic title…ALL @ 80% OFF!!! …GET ‘EM WHILE THEIR CHEAP!!! They make good "War on Easter" presents!

I have to admit besides Mike Malloy I am just not that into Air America .
I much prefer Ed Schultz , Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartman on Sirius left 146 .
I very happy that Phoenix has Air America once again.
Now if we only could get Air America back in Philadelphia! (used to be on WHAT, have no ieda what happened) Thank goodness for internet streaming!

The importance of Air America cannot be misunderestimated.
Asshats like Rush, Hannity, O’Lielly have had the exclusive run of the airwaves since the 80’s and we can all see the results: a pathetically misinformed public and a media so consistently afraid of being called "liberal", they give equal merit to the most transparently illogical claptrap like "we’re fighting them over there so we don’t have to fight them here"…

This is Good News!
Charles Goyette was my favorite on the previous Air America Phoenix. Anyone know if he’ll be back with the new incarnation, or if we can look forward to hearing him somewhere else? He’s the best!
According to Dr. Mike Newcomb, Charles decided not to participate in the new AA Phoenix. This fit with his non-participation in helping bring back AAPHX. I liked him too but he allowed too many nutjobs free air time on a progressive station without challenging them.
I’ve been busy this week and didn’t get my daily Bradblog fix — so I missed this story. Someone told me that AAR is back on and I was ecstatic — but upset about all of the time that I had spent in my car without knowing I COULD HAVE BEEN LISTENING!
I didn’t see the M&M show on the line-up — I hope it gets added. And archived. It would be nice if we could link other people in the country to progressive voices here in Phoenix.
M & M will not be back, but Fred McChesney (one of the M’s) will. Check the Saturday afternoon schedule.

The fever swamp known as Air America Phx puts out astonishingly unmerited invective against religion (read: Christianity-the only religion that the fever swamp cannot stand) and guess what- they are replaced by-you guessed it- a Christian station!!!!
Some things are just too good to be true.
I wonder what you people who listen to this station ( and I am talking to both of you now….) are going to do for an encore??
Fantastic! I really missed Air America when it went off the air. Then just tonight I was surfing the AM and BAM! They’re Baaaack!
I’m really hoping they get Stephanie Miller back on the station. Great, bitingly funny show! I know it not an Air America program, but it’s my favorite.
