Listen Mr. Young, if you have a problem with our President, I think you should get the HELL out of our country, go back to Canada that the US has protected thoughout your existance, learn how to sing on pitch with some kind of control and SHUT UP! I don't know what your problem is but before someone physically forces you out, I would consider the above mentioned info! John

Ever read what it says, or do you only hear the name mentioned while drinking kool aid?
Free Speech is American!

I do wish Neil Young had chosen a different title for this piece.
"Let's impeach George W Bush" would have been my choice for the title.
Every time I hear someone (or read it) refer to Bush as "president" I cringe.
I have never and never will refer to Bush has "president" because he was never elected for either term. And by referring to him as "president" is making him legitimate. He is not and never will be.
He is a Fraud.

As a matter of fact, I do know the constitution quite well. What bothers me about this uninformed generation today is what is being taught in the public schools, it's nothing but a liberal bias and if you have a difference of opinion; your report card shows the proof! What our president is doing in the Middle East is what Clinton should have done while setting up his "roadmap to peace" plan, what a joke! Don't you people understand? We are in the middle of World War III and it is going to get much worse! These Islamic terrorist and Islam as a whole want to rule the world and yes America is at the top of their list! If you would stop using CNN and the so called "drive by media" to get your one sided news, you might just see the light.

You said "As a matter of fact, I do know the constitution quite well."
Then you are without excuse for verbally persecuting someone for their artistic expression. You have no right under the constitution to put someone down for expressing their belief, by demanding that they leave the country.
You also said "What bothers me about this uninformed generation today is what is being taught in the public schools, it's nothing but a liberal bias and if you have a difference of opinion; your report card shows the proof!"
It may bother you, but you should not allow yourself to be bothered by bunk logic, so the bother is your own fault.
Your generalization that in effect all teachers in all schools give bad grades because a student has a different opinion is pure bunk, bigoted, ignorant, and anything but "proof". It isn't even evidence, and it certainly is not true.
You also said "What our president is doing ... World War III ... "
This warmongering Liar in Chief is not promoting American values, and if you were not drunk on kool aid you wouldn't be such a snoozer.
You are the one that needs to wake up and smell the policy stench of this republican dictator. It stinks and it is not American. It is communist, fascist, and utterly without American constitutional underpinnings.
You also slander Islam but are ignorant of its tenets. I have a computerized version of the Koran and the Koran says Jesus is a good prophet. It upholds the other prophets of the Hebrew bible as well.
The Jewish religion of our friends in Israel in general does not think Jesus is a good prophet. They have the right to their religious beliefs as do those practicing Islam.
Your bigotry is disengenuous, uninformed, and dishonest.
Long live America! Impeach Bush and Cheney!

John - Which of the charges Neil Young listed above do YOU think are impeachable offenses?
Are there ANY of the things he mentioned that go against your morals, values, and ethics?
Should we assume then that you also were totally against the impeachment of President Bill Clinton? Why or why not?
Do you agree with Richard Nixon that "If the President does it, that means it's not illegal"?

Great song Neil!
I read earlier this week that Bush is scrapping environmental laws for oil refiners. Looks like these guys are the big winners.
Exxon Mobil 1Q Profit Rises 7 Percent
By Associated Press
IRVING, Texas - Exxon Mobil Corp., the world's largest oil company, on Thursday said higher oil prices drove first-quarter profit up 7 percent from the prior year.
Net income rose to $8.4 billion, or $1.37 per share, for the January-March period from $7.86 billion, or $1.22 per share, a year ago.
The report comes amid consumer outcry in the U.S. about soaring gasoline prices. The average retail price of gasoline in the U.S. is now $2.91 a gallon, or 68 cents higher than a year ago

Reading this post made me remember how Country Joe and the Fish galvanized the people against the Vietnam debacle. Especially enjoyable was his leading a crowd in Berkeley: "Give me an F... Give me a U...Give me a C...Give me a K...What's that spell?". You just knew from the energy it released, that the war criminals of the day would not withstand the people, that nixon would fall, along with all his criminal gang, just as did lbj.
Let's hope Neil's song serves that purpose again. But we can sing his song to our computers as loud as we want --- who will hear it? It took the Nepalese a few weeks on the streets to end their monarchy. Could it be that it will take people on the streets, to end the rule of the decider? A million strong, marching on the White House, singing that song all together!
It seems Americans have to keep pulling the fascist clowns down, again and again, to protect freedoms and the democratic light America strives toward.
But keeping the (neo)clowns out? That means fixing the voting machinery! There can be no true democracy without an honest vote count.
Josh --- I completely agree with your comments. At most, W is a resident. An eviction notice is in order.

I wanted to promote a local folk singer/peace/anti-war activist from the Seattle area named Jim Page. He is a combat veteran, and always shows up at local festivals and progressive gatherings (he played for the last march up here, the 3rd anniversary of the war). He has a number of albums, but one that is very timely and concerns the Iraq war a great deal is called Collateral Damage. He was reviewed by Democracy Now in 2002, here is a link to that brief review of Page's work:
http://www.democracynow....e.pl?sid=03/04/07/037228
And you can also find his homepage at www.jimpage.net
As the DemocracyNow! reviewer said, he is more reminiscent of Woody Guthrie than anyone I've listened to. Check him out.

Good Tune Neal!!! John comment #3, #23: You think you are so smart but you are such a dumb bastard. The Bushit administration dropped bombs on Iraq 6 months prior to invading which has killed over 30,000 innocent civilians. The Bush/Cheney administration using their lies and fear tactics to convince the U.S. to invade their country IS NOT the #1 super power in the world FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT you arrogant Fck. They did it standard Bushit fascist style which is the way they stole the last 2 presidential elections and every other act against the American people, citizens of the world, and all other species as pertaining to the environment of this world which is being destroyed. As for you agreeing with specific actions of the Bushit administration that you condone..make a list Killa. Spreading your hate and making out like the Bushit administration are the great protectors of America or the quote "American way" ain't gonna fly here asshole. Just for the record: Bush and Cheney haven't fought anybody. Nobody. Period. Neither of these scum of the earth international war criminals have fought in ANY war nor are they going to fight anybody. They can talk "tough" and you allow them to brainwash you with their propaganda through our state media. Bush/Cheney have sent thousands of innocent US troops to their death needlessly to fight in their place and to die for their PNAC agenda. They are both despicable cowards.
Read the PNAC document and then you'll know what the illegitimate Bush regime is really about. PNAC is the blueprint of the Bush regime.
And I won't forget the thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens they have killed.

John, being loyal is usually an admirable quality. But not when all signs show that the loyalty is not deserved!
Look at the facts.
Bush & Co. are scewing you over & every other citizen, & the people in the rest of the world too, whether Democrat or Republican---UNLESS you're in the uper 1% tax bracket!
It's a super-rich thang against the rest of us on the planet.
Bush is purposely stirring up trouble & using our children/husbands as cannon fodder to keep it going because making trouble brings big bucks for Bush & Co. He & his cronies own weapons plants, in fact weapons are our biggest export. Trouble in the middle east is a great excuse to keep oil prices up & make record profits at the oil companies. Trouble gets Cheney's homeboys, Halliburton, tons of money from contracts. Gotta keep demand up! They's like to stir up trouble all over the world if they could--they don't give a flying f*k about ANYTHING but the 1% at the top & keeping the money rolling in.
HELLOOOOO!
Don't you remember when Mr. Rogers, in his friendly neighborhood, told you that most grown ups could be trusted, but not all of them, so you need to ask your mom before you listen to them?
Sorry to break it to you, but this is what Mr. Rogers meant honey..
Open your eyes & dare to see that if it walks like a duck.....
If you have a job from the Republicans, I see why you defend them. But don't kid yourself, you've decided to sell out your country for your own selfish good.
If you don't have a job from the Republicans, then you're one mighty poor, sorry fool.

Neil Young has a rare form of talent that has only served to enhanced American music and culture.
We didn't ask the English musicians to leave even though they came over here and kicked our ass. We understood that they loved our music and we embraced them for wanting to make it better. We were in it together for the betterment of both and the whole world wanted some of it.
Reagan didn't bring down the Berlin Wall. Freedom did! Bush shouldn't even be allowed to say the word!

You may think I've gotten off the topic of golden throat Neil Young from CANADA, not the US. How a foreign so called musician, that I'm sure uses pitch correction in the studio to stay in tune when he tries to sing could release something that puts down our President, yes your President also, is way beyond me! It's the men who fought and died that gave you the right to slander our commander and chief! John, you shriveled nutsack you...
Get this one thing through your uber-patriotic little head: Freedom within the US has never (and an emphatic NEVER) been protected by a US military force. Never. The last force to preserve our freedoms fought back in 1776 (and they were colonials, it was not yet the US, and they were fighting to establish those freedoms, rather than preserve them.) You could argue our engagement with the Japanese over Pearl Harbor, but that was far more about preserving territory and strategic position (of an occupied land - jusk ask the Hawai'ian natives) than anything. Remember that HI did not become a state until '59. And throw into the mix all the evidence that Roosevelt knew the Japanese were planning on the attack and "allowed" it to happen. Boy, what the war machine does for an economy, right?
So I'm guessing you don't read much, John, at least about US history, because if you did you would know that the founding fathers stated on many occasions that the preservation of liberties lay expressly with the people themselves.

Okay, this is long and kinda off topic, y'all might wanna skip it.
Except for you, John -
Bless your heart. You made so many statements that go against the facts that I can't even begin to address them - but then, you wouldn't listen anyway, now would you? (And you didn't answer any of my questions, btw)
Keep reading this blog hon, you might learn something.
And for goodness sakes, STOP WATCHING FOX NEWS AND LISTENING TO "JOHN BOY AND BILLY".
Oh, and btw, every branch of the military is well represented in my family over the generations - and they and every other soldier who has served or is serving now are far too valuable to be treated the way they've been treated by this administration.
My dad didn't spend the first sixteen months of MY life in Berlin so that he could come back and be called unpatriotic for speaking out against the policies of George Bush (btw, Dad's a lifelong registered Republican - but he voted AGAINST Bush). My father in law didn't spend his life as career military, including two tours in VietNam, then climb into a bottle to escape the nightmares and flashbacks, while STILL TO THIS DAY dealing with the effects of agent orange and fighting with the VA for his benefits, so that some spoiled frat boy Big Mouth could pose and strut and taunt those who would kill our troops to "BRING IT ON!". (BTW, he always voted Republican too - until Bush came along)
My uncle didn't fight in WWII and Korea, then come home and continue his service with the National Guard, so that the troops representing this country could go in and fight and die in wars of choice based on lies. My grandfather did not earn the purple heart and bronze star (among his other decorations) and spend all that time MIA, then come home and spend the rest of his life dealing with PTSD and all the pain it caused him and his family, not even knowing what was happening to him or why, just so that some hot headed cowboy running this country could decide that it's ok to kidnap, torture, rape, and murder innocent people to get "information" from them and their family members just because he came up with a new way to classify prisoners of war - and because, after all, he's the President and he's doing "GOD'S" work, so the law doesn't apply to him.
Don't even TRY to pretend this President supports the troops, OR the constitution they swore to support, protect, and defend against all enemies, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC. He is a hothead who should never have been in the position he's in, who got there by deceit and theft, and who has now cost thousands of lives and damaged the reputation and honor of our country and our military beyond repair. We have to do everything we can to get him out of office before he does any more damage - and rest assured, even though at times it looks hopeless, we will not stop trying.
And our numbers are growing. We are the majority now.
John, being a blind follower does not make you patriotic, it just makes you blind - and, by association, dangerous, because you support someone who has the ability to start a nuclear war in the Middle East and eventually damage the entire planet, and who seems hellbent on that path - and who believes he's hastening the return of HIS God by the destruction he spreads.
Read your American history book. Dissent is not disloyalty, our country was built on it, and the bill of rights was written so that freedom to dissent would not be surpressed. Speaking out against a criminal and a despot is not only the RIGHT thing to do - it's the AMERICAN thing to do.
*********
Sorry to go off topic y'all, apparently my tolerance level has already been reached this week and there was an incident this week on a personal level regarding military recruiters in the schools at the freakin NINTH GRADE LEVEL. (And that's a whole 'nother long story, won't go into it right now)
We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog.
**
There's colors on the street
Red, white and blue
People shufflin' their feet
People sleepin' in their shoes
But there's a warnin' sign on the road ahead
There's a lot of people sayin' we'd be better off dead
Don't feel like Satan, but I am to them
So I try to forget it, any way I can.
Keep on rockin' in the free world...

John comments: Using the US military to fight an oil war is not a valid justification or using the creating US secret torture camps in foreign countries. My comments stand that you are a brainwashed dumb ass with a pointed tongue. You might want to consider some alternate information to what you've received:
1. iNVESTIGATE The truth about 9/11- building #7, the missile that hit the Pentagon and much much more.
2. The vote rigging scandals well documented on this site.
3. Note: The fact that Bradblog is not a Democratic (political party) Website. While Dem candidates opinions are supported at times, this site does not stand a Democratic bullhorn.
4. Your lack of total insight on the abuse of the environment by Bushit admininstration policy. Go to the NRDC, Wilderness Society, any credible source where you can receive something that seems to elude you called THE TRUTH.
5. Out of time - the fact that anyone with a 2nd grade education can figure out that if U attack an innocent people that are already demonized to promote a Bushit war, you are putting your people at a MUCH GREATER RISK and destroying a world trust as the #1 super power. Also destroyed are years of a track record of doing GOOD THINGS as opposed to being a corrupt evil country that need to be overthrown to change the balance of world power. bASTARD.

John, you might want to pay a little closer attention. The portion you posted is described on Snopes as:
In 2005, someone prefaced the John Glenn/Howard Metzenbaum article with the following item about Iraq. This addendum has nothing to do with John Glenn — it's an anonymous piece that has been floating around the Internet since 2004, but because it has been tacked onto an article about Glenn, readers have been misled into thinking that it is a transcription of something he said.

The military is great.
It's the POLITICAL leaders who send them into illegal wars to die over nothing but profit for political leaders that suck.
Back in the day--the military people you quoted fought LEGAL wars.
That was a totally different situation than what we have today.
Everyone wants to fight to save their country & for Democracy.
But Bush is single-handedly RUINING our military. NO body wants to fight a war so the monied elite can make more money.
(How many 'bodies per gallon' is the price of gas today?)

(How many 'bodies per gallon' is the price of gas today?) There's no oil shortage & no need to go into the Arctic to get more oil. The oil barons carefully control the supply allowed to go to market so they can get the price as high as possible & make record profits. War is just a good excuse to jack the price up. That's all. They want to get their hands on Iraq's oil too--but they're in no hurry. They don't want to get a glut of oil on the market at one time. It would be hard to justify record prices then. The TV stations don't tell you this because they are owned by the oil companies.
I enjoyed the stuff about Democrats, it was amusing.

Charlene, I think I GET IT! Yes I agree with your analogy of this war being fought, to an extent, for who controls the oil in the middle east. What you and the liberals can't seem to get through your thick heads is what our own country is facing, Terrorism!!! GET IT!!! HELLLOOOO Charlene. If we don't fight these killers on their turf, you can bet we will be engaged in battle in our own backyards! If you think these bastards that took a commercial jet liners full of innocent civilians and struck the twin towers and killed innocent civilians is not an attack on our country, you are supporting the very enemy we are fighting! I can say without conviction, we don't kill people just to kill because we are supporting a FALSE religion. If we did, this country would not stand and would have been taken out years ago! When, not if, this country gets hit again, what do you and the far left tend to do about it this time, come up with some sort of "politically correct" guide on how to better understand the "religion of peace!" I really think the biggest problem here is, most of you liberals don't even realize there is a real war going on! You can bet you will know there is a war going on when you start watching CNN, Fox News, MSNBC or whatever news source you use, and see suicide bombers killing children in schools, supermarkets and public buildings. You need to get your head out of the sand and pay attention, you too Neil Young! This is serious stuff people! Stop being afraid!!!!!

Comment #32 Militaristic Retard with a war mongering one track mind: While you have not provided a list of accomplishments of the Bushit administration (although impeachment and jail time asap would be the best possible outcome for these criminals), U have provided your opinionated short history of recent American military conflicts. For the record, Clinton is/was a crook however he still managed to do some good things while in office. There are good reasons why the US military DOES NOT run our government and most military actions after WW II such as the Vietnam War were unneccesary. Bush/Cheney/Rice/Powell and Co. rushed the US into their oil war using fear factor lies and (out in the open now) doctored intelligence using pre-emptive 1st strike not an act of the US Senate. One day, all will know the extent of the US government involvement of 9/11 against the US people, although they have done a good job of destroying most of the evidence to date.
The Fascist Skull and Bones Brown and Roote Haliberton oil barrons in office in a vulgar display of power used our military to occupy Iraq. Maybe you think the US is a safer place because of this unnecessary act of aggression, however i say BUSHIT! If our government system of checks and balances was working at the Federal level, and we had intelligent informed patriotic individuals making decisions in the best interests of the American people, citizens of the world and deteriorating WORLD ENVIRONMENT, WE would not be in such a bad place. Instead we got a corrupt majority self serving to the corporate elite. Incidently Mac, Gore actually won in 2000 and in case your thick skull has not been penetrated by the fact that votes were stolen to give Bush his 2nd illegal presidential victory, then read up on some of the Bradblog archieved threads at the top of the page on hacked voting machines. Folks,
You're wasting your time with John. He has bought into all this terrorist stuff hook, line, sinker and boat. In the past I have tried to talk with people like John until I'm blue in the face only to get no where with them. It's best to just walk away from them because it's like talking to a damn wall.
I have a Repug relative like that. I no longer discuss politics with her at all. She's afraid of her own shadow. I gently suggested once that she might turn off Faux News, but that didn't "take."
Just like John, she fails to understand that The World's #1 International Terrorist resides in the White House, illegitimately so. His name is George W Bush. This terrorist has caused more harm, death and destruction around the world----killing thousands of innocent people to date, including his own people----than any other "terrorist" in the world. His barbaric actions have caused tremendous resentment to the US around the world, particularly in the Middle East. And Bush has terrorized the world in the name of the Christian God. This "loving," "merciful" and "all-knowing" God fellow has supposedly told this piece of trash Bush to commit his terrorist acts on Afghanistan and Iraq (which had NOTHING to do with September 11th 2001 John), killing thousands. Bush says that he is guided by "The Almighty." I see. So much for the commandment "Thou Shalt Not Kill" in "The Almighty's" Christian bible. And I somehow missed the part in the bible where it says that this commandment doesn't apply to politicians. It's also interesting how Bush somehow has a direct line to God (a DSL?). That's something that the Roman Catholic Pope and the Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury don't claim.

John. You are such a fucking retard tool. O my fucking God I can't believe there are really people like you that I have to share good breathable air with.
1) 9-11 was at least in part perpetrated by our own government. www.loosechange911.com, www.copvcia.com, www.waynemadsenreport.com to name but a few sites which, in my conspiratorial yet humble opinion provide PROOF that we are being provided with a pack of lies regarding 9-11. I don't know why you think that such a thing could never happen here, but I guess that's what makes this topic taboo.
2) Yes, the elections in 2000, 2002, 2004 WERE stolen. To anyone who bothers to pay attention to not only circumstantial evidence such as conflict of interest, but to well-analyzed statistical evidence, this is obvious. Hear me, you nutsack? O-B-V-I-O-U-S.
3) You will find more informed people per square inch on this blog than pretty much anywhere else in cyberspace. The only people that bring down that ratio are folks like you. You think that we will have to battle terrorists on our own soil...well, you're right, but you have misidentified the real terrorists. They go by titles like Secretary of Defense, Senate Majority Leader, and Commander-In-Chief. A coup has already occurred in this country, and our three branches of government have been co-opted into a single body that serves money and power structures and not We the People.
You will come to realize this in time.

Johnny boy: i'm breaking out the plastic spoon to feed U so maybe you will open your eyes. When it was established that candidate Gore had more popular votes after all the votes were counted in the state of Florida run by Govenor Jeb Bush in 2002, an event ocurred called 9/11 which overshadowed this fact. No coincidence. Florida was also one of the 4 swing states that Bush stole in the 2004 presidential election using both electronic and humanistic fraud. The mass media in this country is owned by the corporate elite and run by the government. Got it dipshit. The stories you read or don't ever hear about let alone what their slanted versions of the truth is dependent on what they want to tell U the stupid American viewer. NO MEDIA WATCHDOG..No sound journalistic investigative unbiased reporting of the facts. Only the latest on who your favorite actress is screwing. US mass media blackouts the truth to perpetuate their lies and promote their distorted perception of the truth. Got it. Big brother is running the show. Using modern methods of media control has given the Bushit administration a leg up to channel their Bushit into the likes of U and it worked.

Wow! I can't understand how a discussion like this can devote so much time to this guy John. He's the kind of troll who somehow gets a thrill from irritating rational people. Ignore him.
On the other hand, why not use your energy to build on River's (#13) comments?
I'm from Canada, but what your country does affects the world, especially with all the wars and destruction. Why does it take six years for good American people to get to the streets like River suggests? I've been waiting. I saw Scott Ritter courageously talking about this a few years ago up here. He said to us as Canadians, 'Friends don't let friends drive drunk'. He was appealing to us because there was virtually no visible action happening down there.
My feeling is that Americans have the flag and the president to identify their country with. Therefore it's easy for a president, (and I agree he isn't really one), to claim you are all unpatriotic if you disagree with him. How can you let him snow you like that?

My own kids can't even really see what's happening, or if they do see part of it, they believe it is so much bigger than they are that there is nothing they can do to counter it.
Neil Young said he was waiting for the younger artists to make a move, but finally decided he had to do it himself...
Is the new culture so swallowed up in corporate professionalism that we have lost all our power?
I don't believe that's the case, but maybe things have to go further, a lot further before people stand up, and I guess the longer things take, the more resentment builds up, and the more explosive the reaction when it comes. Any thoughts on this?

Dearest Blog Post-ers,
Please, please, please; need we all default to ugly name-calling here? A large part of the success in ending the Vietnam war was due to a philosophy of tolerance and respect for eath other's opinions, and a HUGE respect for the right to speak freely.
As much as I disagree with John's opinion, he is certainly entitled to it, and without being called a 'nutsack' and 'moron'. Such abuse does not put those of us who oppose the war on legal and moral grounds in a good light, does it?
For the record, John, I would like to pose a real question: You expressed a desire to eject Mr. Young from your country, citing his Canadian routes. Why? He has lived in the states since the 1960s. He holds US citizenship. He votes. The fact that he also holds Canadian citizenship does not alter the fact that by writing songs like "Let's Impeach the President", he is defending YOUR constitutional rights.
Sir, if your attitude toward foreign-born Americans were acceptable, half the population of the US could be summarily ejected for living up to the standards put forward in the first amendment to your constitution. How far back would you have to go to find that your own history includes an immigrant to your beloved country? Not far, I expect.
For the record: I am a proud CANADIAN; a 9th generation Canadian, in fact. My ancestors did not agree with everyting the revolutionaries did. My ancestors vocally objected to the systematic murder, terrorism and torture the American Revolutionaries committed upon those who had the temerity to disagree with their actions. They supported fair and representative taxation, but not abuse of power and might. They wanted freedom, but not at the cost of murder, theft and terrorism.
The price my ancestors paid was high. Their land and dwellings were seized. All their assets were turned over to revolutionary interests, without trial or compensation. Some Empire Loyalists were burned alive in their houses when they refused to give all they owned to the revolutionary commanders. Ever wonder about the phrase "Lynch Mob"? Google it. Some of my own ancestors were victims of this perverse abuse of power.
So John, don't think that war, ANY war, is completely just. Don't think this war is without evil, any more than your own revolutionary war was.
Canadians were, and are, profoundly sympathetic to the assault suffered by the US at the hands of religious fundamentalists on 9/11. Canadians understand and feel your pain. Some of our own citizens were in the towers, and on the planes.
The problem with this war is that it has NOTHING to do with 9/11. Nothing. The perpetrators of that attack have been allowed to go free, presumably to justify continuing military presence in the Middle East. In the meantime, you and all your compatriots have been fed a bill of goods on Iraq.
This war is about Money; money from oil reserves. It is about the Bush family 'honour'. It is about the ego of a madman. It is about insanity dictating death and destruction. It is not about your freedom.
I wonder, John, would you be so emphatic if your phone were tapped? -If your computer were bugged? -If you were followed; and even if you were censured by your own government? As long as the Bush administration remains in power, you should be afraid; very, very afraid.
I know we Canadians are afraid. We have lots of oil. Will Bush 'liberate' us next???
Fortunately, Canada has the entire Commonwealth to back us up, but maybe Bush is crazy enough to try anyway...
Cheerio John, and please take the time to truly examine those principles to which you cling so tightly. Examine your constitutional rights, and ask yourself:
WHERE THE HELL DID THEY GO???????

Empire Loyalist comment #72: Even though most the evidence from the event known as 9/11 was destroyed or confiscated, an independent investigation by an agency or group other than FEMA (who wasn't allowed at GROUND ZERO and DID NOT investigate the missile that hit the PENTAGON until the following month) would prove prove a "1933 Rhienstag fire" against the people of the United State to forward the dictatorship hijacking of our form of government characteristic of the Bushit administration. There are many fact, unanswered questions, and complete and total discrepencies of the 9/11 report and what happened. Dr. Griffin, investigate 9/11, a dvd called "loose change" and a number of very good websites explore the coverup of what happened on that day. This attack has been the foundation of his power. U would think there would be even a slight interest to investigate why if we attacked Iraq instead of going after Bin Laden at that time period and the White House Bush administration lied about Iraq to the American people to attack them, that there would be one fcking Washington politician who would want a more complete investigation to look at shit like: WTC building #7 was reported to disintegrating for "unknown reasons" in the FEMA report. Bushit! It fell the same way as the WTC towers fell (controlled demolition style) 9 hours later even though it was unattached across the street and was NEVER HIT BY AN AIRCRAFT. FCK THIS BUSHIT!

Malfoyd = if you haven't seen the Loose Change video that GBD is referring to, it is a MUST SEE. I have probably burned and passed out close to 60 of htese videos to anyone who dares to consider. A friend and I having reserved the local library for tomorrow night and are holding a screening of this video, where i hope to pass out many more copies of this (the documentary creator has encouraged this BTW). The first thing that people must do is entertain the notion that 9-11 could have involved our own government. That is the hardest step. I've had people tell me, "That video is very convincing...and yet I'm not convinced because it could just never happen." To which I say "Why? What makes you think it is so implausible?" I think it is this idea we have of America's perfection, or some such nonsense, that we are so elevated that simply our status as America negates any possibility of this kind of nefariousness (is that a word.) Anyway, you get my point. As soon as you allow yourself to entertain the possibility of the material contained on this video as true, then you see that it all points that way. The first red flag for me was the fighter jets not being scrambled within seconds of those passenger jets veering off course...let alone the 45 mins that it actually took. The biggest red flag was the administrations resistance to any officail congressional investigation. Why? Why? WHY?????
So watch it as a streaming video, or download it from www.loosechange911.com and make sure all of your friends and family see it. I purchased my own copy also for $17.95 because this documentarian deserves all the support he can get.
Did I hear also that a 3rd edition is due to be released IN THEATRES - somewhere around 300 thatres have agreed to show this video.

SR - I have no trouble believing what those in this government might do - they were proud as punch of their 'shock and awe', as they rained death down on innocent Iraqi people - making fools of the US military and citizenry with their lies.
They have no respect for the hard fought for instruments of modern civilization - the UN, the ICC, Kyoto - they distain all of the things that aim our civilization in a positive direction.
Killing a few thousand of their own people, to them, would merely be a joyous celebration of what they believe absolute power to be.

I don't understand it. George Bush is no saint. He's a spoiled war criminal. Its laughable to think that God would support imperialism. The pope, (John Paul II) one of the most sound voices of conservatism in the free world (whether you're a catholic or not) opposed the Iraq war vehemently.

Hahaha my point exactly! Another person obviously as crazy as she is religious. And with this piece of journalistic marvel u hope to prove what? That if we hadnt attacked Iraq Young wouldnt have had the freedome to release his song? That no matter what the army should be praised? That the President isnt responsible for his own actions and should be praised no matter what he does?
The best gift you can give is a prayer?? How about some working armour? I would go for the armour myself but hey what do I know.

To A soldier's wife - comment 88:
I respect your opinion and I also agree with you to SOME extent. However, as a swedish citizen, I find it very hard to understand a couple of things. Firstly: I can´t understand the way you mix your christian beliefs and your (obviously) war-friendly view on foreign politics. To me, a christian myself, war is never an alternative, never a solution. Christianity is a peaceful religion. Can you name one passage in the holy bible that supports your view? Can´t you see that your standpoint is just the same as that of the people in Iraq or the people of Al Qaida, fighting in Allah´s name?
Can´t you see that religion has NOTHING to do with foreign politics? Anyway, I wish all the best for you and your husband. Hopefully, the war is soon over and your husband is home alive. I DO think that freedom is indeed something worth to fight for but personally I don´t think (not for a second) that the US war on Iraq has something to do with freedom.

To all participants:
Never forget that your freedom is defined by the separation of church and state. Until ALL religion is purged from society, the evil it causes will continue.
And anyone who thinks Christianity, or any of the Abrahamic religions, is 'peaceful', has obviously not actually read their own scriptures. This is the same god that advocates war, bloodshed, rape and murder; the same god that commands that anyone who works on the sabbath MUST be stoned to death; the same god who will send an innocent child to burn in hell for all eternity, if that child dies having not been 'saved'.
Indeed, yours is a sick, twisted, imaginary god, belief in which causes humans to commit heinous acts against members of our own species!
Neil Young writes from his concience. He wants peace. He wants our soldiers to come home healthy.
Enough jingoistic flag slobbering, PLEASE. The issue is NOT about national security, but about FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Neil Young is excersizing his basic rights.
Remember your civil rights? Shouldn't you be asking where on Earth they went?

Hey Brad or whatever the hell you're name is, why do you keep removing my blog, does the TRUTH HURT? Come on, you people are going to be in for a big surprise when this country gets attacked again! Why don't you unite and be part of the solution instead of the the problem?
