Yesterday we had primary elections in eight states, yet all problems have not been settled in states that had primaries even a month ago. There are still residual problems being reported in Arkansas, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. How are these being addressed by the EAC? They are being ignored as the state’s problems. /Underfunded candidates who did no campaigning won in the first count of absentee ballots in one Iowa county on ES&S Optical-scan machines. The county is hand counting those ballots./There were many reports of problems throughout the state of California yesterday. One can only guess that there were at least as many unreported problems./ Leflore Co., Mississippi had ballot programming problems even though a Diebold tech had worked on their machines for a month/…

In Congressional district 50 in California and the very close election there, the GOP spent twice as much as the dems.

In that race, a GOP gerrymandered fortress, and where the dem challenger put her foot in her mouth the last day … still … it was squeaky close.

The election, assuming for the moment as some do that it was valid, indicates other interesting characteristics of that district. I mean their GOP congressman is in jail for felonies associated with being a congressman.

This shows that to the GOP faithful:

      1) corruption is not a major issue
      2) accountability is not a major issue
      3) the voters are confused
      4) the GOP was scared spitless

The GOP is saying their candidate won because immigration is such a big issue, as evidenced by the furor over the Dubai port scandal.

But what about the president selling military hardware factories to Dubai after finding out Americans do not like the idea?

That is back door immigration isn’t it?

I mean, foreign governments running military plants that make critical military hardware parts (link here) is "letting them into our country" big time isn’t it?

One time supporters of the Taliban working in sensitive weapons factories? Remember the movie Schindler’s list where munitions were sabotaged? How hard would it be for terrorists to influence some of what goes on there?

The furor over virtual slave labor crossing the border to earn less than minimum wage and send some home is no more a story than a president putting unstable mid-east countries that supported the Taliban in ownership position of national security relevant munitions factories in the US.

I live in California and my county has electronic voting. I vote absentee but hand delivered my ballot while at the office a man was on the electronic voting machine and had finished voting and reached for the side of the machine for a receipt and was told there wasn’t one. I find it interesting that he naturally just did that and was surprised that there wasn’t one.
