A message from Cindy Sheehan:
Good comes from the bottom up---crap rolls down hill. I am tired of getting crapped on by our government---when will it be enough for you? We are covered with crap and our leaders aren’t going to clean it up---we have to.
Gold Star Families for Peace is planning on convening on the White House on election day and the day after (Nov. 7 & .
We hope that there are enough Americans who are willing to stand up and be counted with us to demonstrate to BushCo and Congress, Inc. that we are tired of having our rights taken away from us faster than our bombs destroyed Babylon. We are tired of having our young people die and kill innocent people to enhance corporate America’s bottom line. We are tired of the constant drip, drip, drip of the wearing away of everything that we hold dear.
I withdrew my consent to be governed by maniacs long ago. I withdraw my consent to be hauled off to Guantanamo and be stashed away for matriotically dissenting from this crime-ridden regime.
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired of the corruption and heartache?
Show your discontent with us.
Vote absentee so your vote will have a better chance of being counted and join
Gold Star Families for Peace and other prominent peace groups and organizations in our continuing quest to end the illegal and immoral occupation of Iraq and hold our government accountable.
If the Republicans steal another election, it is time for we the people to stand up (or sit down) to demonstrate that we are finally not taking corrupt and illegitimate elections anymore. We need to surround the White House by the tens of thousands those days.
But equally important, if a miracle occurs and the Democrats take back one or both Houses of Congress, we also need to be out in great numbers to remind them that we will hold them to the same standards of peace with justice that we are about to hold the Republicans to.
This will be a non-permitted event. It is time that we also take back our First Amendment rights to peaceably gather, exercise our freedoms of speech and to petition our government for redress of wrong.
War is over if we want it and WE are the ones we have been waiting for.
Come and make history with us by being the checks and balances on our government that are so sorely needed! Or organize sit-ins in your community if you can’t make it to DC.
Go to Gold Star Families for Peace for more information. Or email: CampCaseyMom@yahoo.com

Both DemocRATs with their perverts Sen. Kennedy
and Barney Frank,................ and
the RepublicRATs are bought and paid for with the
same RAT money created out of thin air from the FED.
Reserve... and BOTH should be ignored in Nov. 2006
Elections. WRITE in None Of The Above for all offices
that are Partisan and in gerrymandered districts, where
the INCUMBENT Party has pre-selected the Voters who will
[they think] guarantee them a safe RE-Election.

You are a brave God Send, a Gold Star Mom.
When you next cruise thru Santa Maria, CA, stop
and do a LIVE TV show with me.
To STOP WAR, I think we have to sell it as good
for Middle Americans, not just the lefties. The Corporate fascist have definitely stollen the rigged
elections. 96% of All incumbants will win and Demicrats like Lois Capps and Jane Harman, etc. voted for WAR
Voted for Patriot ACT... so the solution does not
lie with either Major Party. We must create a new
super 3rd Party and since there is only the Libertarian
Party on 45 ballots or more this 2006, 49 ballots in 2004, 50 ballots in 2000 & 2002. Voting Libertarian,
where there IS no Green or Constitutional Party makes
sense to NOT CONSENT to the usurper of the OVAL office.
Otherwise, WRITE IN "NONE Of The Above" on the ballot by absentee. God Bless you Cindy, and I look forward to doing a LIVE TV show with you.

I finally got an answer back from Bill Nelson. Here it is.
Dear Ms. B:
Thank you for contacting me regarding the issue of military tribunals
for illegal combatants captured in the war on terror. As a member of the
Senate Armed Services Committee, I have followed closely the evolution of
this important issue.
Congress needed to establish a system for trying terrorist suspects,
because the President's plan for secret trials could have put our own
captured troops at risk. I voted for Senator John McCain's proposal for
trying terrorist suspects in military courts and ruling out secret trials.
I believe the legislation respects international law and our treaty
obligations by preventing abuses during interrogations. I also voted for
an amendment to restore habeas corpus rights, but it was narrowly defeated.
I appreciate the opportunity to share my position on this very
emotional issue. It is a privilege to serve Florida in the Senate, and I
value the views of my constituents. Please do not hesitate to contact me
on other issues that are of interest to you.
All I can say is WHAT! What does he mean by this? "the President's plan for secret trials could have put our own
captured troops at risk." What is he talking about, didn't he just give Bush the go ahead to do this. Am I reading this right????

Meanwhile, could it be that our friend Brian Bilbray is being investigated by a grand jury? Apparently he has made several conflicting claims about his primary residence and he may not even live in the district he "represents" ... unbelievable ...

Don't you wish they would quit being so polite in these form letters and just say what they mean:
I appreciate the opportunity to share my position on this very emotional issue. FUCK YOU!

If george bush II was found in a compromising position with Barney, would O'Reilly insist that bush is a Democrat?

Meanwhile, in Colorado, Sequoia has introduced an error into the absentee ballots: The Denver Post reports
If a company cannot be relied upon to proofread a printed ballot, why should it be trusted during an election?
Oh, sorry, probably just some badly trained election workers, I guess.
