Time to stop pussyfooting around with those garbage voting machines…..GET RID OF ‘EM..!!
They, the companys pushing them and the crooks pushing FOR them are destroying your country, and will continue to do so until they’re gone.
Maybe you’re gonna have to take to the streets, peaceful revolution style, and demand those pieces of garbage be relegated to the annals of history.
No more audits, no more costly law suits….only hand counting paper ballots, where a recount can be done immediately if necessary, and more importantly, an election where ALL votes are counted as originally cast.
amen! The corrupted machines must go if this democracy is to be saved! These machines were intentionally created, along with the HAVA Act sham to mandate their use, to take away another of our constitutional rights….simply put! They were the result of a devious group of twisted individuals (Diebold among the worst of the bunch who is, of course, located in Ohio – and whose State Dir. of Elections ran the Bush/Cheney campaign there (cough…cough….conflict of interest?) and, of course, Ohio was the state who ultimately elected the president (huge cough!)…these individuals place personal “power and greed” above morality and lofty values….overt corruption over democracy.
We can no longer play games with this travesty of justice. We can no longer delude ourselves that our democracy is intact and every vote counts. Just look at the Buchanan/Jennings race in Sarasota as prima facie evidence of just how far these thugs will go to achieve their purposes. “Undervotes” is today’s relative of the “chads…pregnant chads, etc.” of the other stolen election right there in the same district back in 2000….and the actions of imprisoned Duke Cunningham’s “little lady” (Katherine Harris) whose actions were probably criminal and awarded the election to GWB.(and then she received her “payback” by moving to a higher office (ahem)…..
This hijacking of our democracy by the elecronic voting machine companies, the people who rammed the HAVA act into being (Ney is already in prison!) and the Election Supervisors who are probably “on the take” to certify them needs to be investigated thoroughly.
This hijacking of our democracy from within IS the SINGLE-MOST SIGNIFICANT THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY….more deleterious than any terrorism from outside….people need to take notice and do something before another presidential election is stolen in 08.
We’ve seen what the “wrong person in the wrong place” can produce…..”ill gotten gains” are nothing more than damaged goods and it’s becoming apparent that the individual chosen to be the puppet of “big Industry” is simply that – incapable of logical thought processes and consistent errors in judgment….totally unqualified for the job and probably not really selected by the voters in the first place.
