Darrell I just was wondering. Do you think Tom Delay or any other wingnut would allow a similiar left leaning statement to yours made by a liberal on their blog? Or would it be filtered out?

Is "Lars" related to San Diego's own Wingut radio wannabe, Mark Larson? Enguiring minds wanna know.

One thing, though. A couple of times in the last week I've heard him claim that we have "record low unemployment," yet the unemployment rate in December was 4.5%, higher than the yearly averages in Clinton's last two years in office, and equal to the yearly average the year before.

The other thing to hammer on about the economy is that real income, across income groups, is still lower than it was in Clinton's last year in office. Bush could be the first President ever to have real income lower at the end of his term than at the end of his predecessor in all income groups.

The part I enjoyed the most was when you and he were in total agreement about paper ballots.

Now if you would only get to the hand-counted part, as advocated by (Republican) computer security expert Chuck Herrin we'd all be on the same side.

Herrin does security consulting for some of the world's largest financial institutions. Lars should consider having him on the show.
