Well that would explain a lot of the “flip-flopping” on Capital Hill. That would also explain why nobody is ever held accountable for crimes (with the exception of a token BS trial now and then) and nothing ever gets done for the good of the people anymore.
There is a “dirty little secrets” room somewhere, probably at Bush’s ranch, containing all the goods on everyone in Washington. Capital Hill is now Blackmail Hill.
Those who choose not to accept the “special payroll” and can’t morally be part of the Bush/Cheney crimes and destruction of America any longer, simply resign – and that list is long. So Raw Story reports that there are retired FBI folks who say Edmonds is being prevented from divulging what she knows under cloak of illegal investigations against her under cloak of Homeland Security/National Security, so the threads of what she knows about Turkey and the players cannot be traced anywhere. And that the FBI was complicit. And so were Congressional and Administration (and maybe Pentagon) facilitators representing a cast from both parties.
And we expect an investigation to go forward?
I can see why folks like Wayne Madsen constantly get marginalized for seeing conspiracies in their alpabet soup. Because folks like him and Sibel might just be on target after all.

So if this summary is the least bit accurate, why is hard to believe that the same greed can adopt breathtaking scope domestically? Why is the expression “Bush Crime Family” considered nothing more than a demeaning liberal joke? Or the “military industrial complex”? Why is it hard to accept that US companies would want to get in on the action, now or in the past? Why wouldn’t IBM and Coca-Cola want to do business with Nazi Germany? Or the Harriman’s?
I am not settled in what I believe about these matters. I am truly uncertain. There is a part of me that is absolutely incredulous: how could ANYBODY, let alone a whole government, stoop so low? Is this just a mega-conspiracy theory? Even that has no clean answer. If I were a dyed-in-the-wool market-driven conservative, I would have to say: “of course it’s true–that is the way the world works–self interest–greed is good–do you really expect noble ideals drive anything?” What better example than Halliburton and the current Admininstration continuing the Bush Family tradition.
So what about religious fundamentalists of any stripe? Are they “market driven” or just crazy-obsessed with pure theology? Osama comes from a family that knows construction contracts inside out. Is he a fundamentalist, or pragmatic opportunist with an unusual entrepreneurial streak?
I say I am not settled in what I believe. That is true. But I have reached a stage where my mind is more elastic, and open to the possibilities.
