But we all know the difference between Roosevelt and Mr. Bush: Roosevelt was forced into a war by seriously dangerous enemies; Bush instigated an aggressive war. Theonly theing we have to fear is fear itself is being compared to the kiss your sweet ass goodbye administration.
Lincoln? i can hear the thump thump thumping in his grave from across the state to such comparisons.
Churchill? The man who said we shall never surrender being compared to "we can’t win."
Kennedy? If that was a cryptic reference to getting bogged down in a senseless war the proper reference would have been to Eisenhower but the sentiment is appreciated.
Johhny Cash? No effing way. i assume the comparison was to the beauty and simplicity of Cash’s faith exuded through much of his music. Here’s the difference: for Bush faith is a crutch and a crow bar; for Cash there is a beauty and a commitment that i wouldnt even try to describe. Ever hear Cash sing May the Circle Be Unbroken? That’s faith. This Jesus in my heart blowing everyone to hell is not.

I watched Laura Bush and I could not help but think what a great first lady she is. She is not arrogant and obnoxious like Hillary. She doesn’t have that shrill voice of Hillary. A friend said that Hillary was a politician, not a first lady, and that is why she gets on people’s nerves.

Wonder why no one commented on that treating everyone with dignitude remark with which Mrs. Bush (known killer) described her husband? i mean when he mocked a woman whose death warrant he signed, an act so nasty it caused even Tucker Carlson to recoil in horror, was that an act of dignity or did i misunderestimate it?

I’d say calling Mrs. Bush a "killer" is on a lack-of-taste level with W laughing at a death warrant. It was a fatal accident, yes, but an accident.
