Yesterday the key word was “decision.” Today I will continue with that word. Has a “decision” been made with respect to HR-811? Only time will tell. Information is the grist that is fed into the mill to become a “decision.” New York now has more information on the vendors so they can make a “decision” on their voting system selection. Another Pennsylvania county has to decide how they are going to pay for a maintenance contract for the ES&S voting machines. Maybe it’s time the counties decide it’s time to kick ES&S out of the state. Oklahoma did it years ago and, you know, there is very little news about voting machine failures in Oklahoma reported in DVN….

John,
Some have seen it coming. A decision of the nightmare type.
Words like “I will listen to the commanders on the ground, not politicians” and other hints at who runs things from the background.
These indicate a language where the military is in command over the civilians. The neoCons use it more and more these daze.
Now the military is directly rebuking members of the Senate:
(Big Brother Speaks). There needs to be an outcry and a demand for the resignation of the jackass so it can go back to civics school.
Or we may become a military run banana republic where decisions are made by the commander or the fuehrer.
We may end up having paper ballots like Stalin used, with stalinists doing the counting.
John,
You said Yesterday the key word was “decision”.
Perhaps the “old style conservative” and past member of the Reagan administration was not wild eyed when he said “Unless Congress immediately impeaches Bush and Cheney, a year from now the US could be a dictatorial police state at war with Iran” (link).
The regime has just announced that it is officially above Congress and the laws Congress makes. The Department of
JusticeJust Us has been ordered not to prosecute any cases of contempt of Congress. Now we know why Harriet Meirs did a no show:(WaPo, emphasis added).
This is the clearest sign of a republican dictatorship married to the military industrial complex we have seen. If the courts back this we are toast as a democracy.
Big Brother is a republican.
