Is it just me, or is everything getting worse?
Not only in the real world, but in the cyber-world too. Everybody's getting nastier and edgier.

I'm sorry to say, it's not your imagination, Mrs. J. The stakes are higher than ever. On the Left, human lives are at stake. On the Right, losing power is at stake. Those are the two things each side cares about most. So it's only getting hotter, and I imagine it will continue to warm up at an alarming speed between now and Nov. 2nd.
I'm sorry to say.

are you tellig me that you folks on the left don't care for power? Please. And as far as caring for lives, I don't recall hearing a peep from you guys when Saddam was filling his mass graves.

Oh goodness....There's that response again.
First of all Greg, I don't particularly care for power. Believe it or not. Power is just something people seek to control others. I'm not a big fan of control .
As for your redundant "Where were you when Saddam was filling mass graves" argument, I've said it before & I'll say it again we cared then just as much as we do now. Even if we weren't actively involved, even if we did nothing to help, do you really not see the difference between witnessing a murder and commiting one?
I'm not saying it's right - trust me. I was and still AM outraged by the beast that is/was Saddam, but really. Come up with another argument. Yours is tired, old and nauseating. We cared then, we care now.

... so Greg, who's graves mean more to you, the ones dug in Iraq, or the ones dug in Arlington?
I know trick question. Ok, easier one: which graves mean more, Sudan or Iraq?
Or how about non-existent WMD's in Iraq versus known WMD's in Iran and N. Korea? Don't you think there are better places to lose American lives than Iraq? If the current leadership wasn't asleep at the wheel, or preoccupied with the election, couldn't we be using our military quite a bit more effectively?
