That "heart" of that river has enough energy being wasted to illuminate a pair of 6 volt street lamps. Perhaps I missed the point?!
Breathtaking! Literally! We'll be seeing you at the Oscars for this.

All streams flow to the sea
because it is lower than they are.
Humility gives it its power.
If you want to govern the people,
you must place yourself below them.
If you want to lead the people,
you must learn how to follow them.

Dear Brad and Desi,
Too many favorite parts to single out just one. A lot more action-packed than I'd anticipated. Brad's ability to maintain a civil discourse even while being attacked by vicious guard dogs an astonishing and heroic display of equanimity. A welcome change from MSM puff pieces. They just don't have the courage to cover something like this. Or the vision required to even notice a river that small. I cried all the way through.

Thanks for the tour Brad. For your next documentary, I suggest the river up where corrupt Republicans and Democrats will get sent.

What to say? Top notch documentary; keep 'em coming.
Bamboo Harvester asked if there would be a sequel. Well, Depoe Bay (World's Smallest Harbor) was just to the South of the "D" River, but we didn't get greenlit for that project. The suits are killing me. Only interested in profits. You know how that goes...

It must be hell having to deal with the corporate mentality of the boardroom there at Bradblog Central...
What a man you are to satisfy the Board so as to keep doing this important documentary work...
And kudos of course to Desi for using all the latest technology to get such accurate cinimatography.
Mega-corporations being what they are, I hope you watch your back. You know there's always some younger, prettier-faced cub blogger coming along trying to scramble past you to bring us the bigger stories.
Maybe you could build an even bigger, more gigantic Bradblog World HQ, right on the banks of the mighty D. Maybe a pier going far out into the river, where you and your board can catch sharks...
Well, at least you should make sure that the next river story includes a fishing segment.
I like fish...
... that would be "the corporate mentality of the bored room there at Bradblog Central ..."
So you're up in Oregon, eh?
How about swingin' on down to Nevada and puttin' in an evening's worth of "persuasion calls" to Reno-area Repubs who think the biggest issue facing America is that "we need to drill."
Believe me, you'd have A LOT to write about after three or four hours of talkin' to people who can't bring themselves to utter the name "Obama."

Uh, yeah, nice evasive move on the dog. We have a problem with feral chihuahuas here in Asheville.
The boots and socks... nice shot near the end. Where can I buy same?

Hilarious. Definitely award quality. My Chihuahua wants to know if the little dog got an appearance fee. Other than that, she gave it a two dewclaws and a leg up.
Hope you can get more of these documentaries through corporate.
Chihuahua got the same --- no more, and no less --- than the human participants in the film.
No animals were harmed in the making of this documentary.
You goofballs! Too much fun is too good for you.
I loved it!
