I think this only proves that John McCain is really a manchurian candidate. He was tortured and brainwashed as a POW and will be activated once he becomes president. (Hey if the repugs can claim Obama is a terrorist...)

The reality here is why don't the media spend as much time on McCain being born in panama as they have on Obama's being born in Hawaii? I mean really McCain isn't a naturalized citizen so who is he to talk.

John McCain has written or had ghostwritten at least three books pushing the idea that he qualifies as a "war hero". The public has more or less bought in to this meme because they have little to none additional information that is independent of this useful self aggrandizing tale.

They don't have this additional information because McCain has refused to allow his Vietnam military records to be declassified.

According to some of his fellow POW's and intelligence officers active during Vietnam,there may be reason to believe that he was anything BUT a "war hero".

They believe that he may have given military information to the enemy without being tortured and cooperated with Hanoi in delivering anti-American propaganda on possibly more than 30 occasions.

There are those who believe that he was interrogated at length by the North Vietnamese and Soviets because they wished to discover how the Americans had penetrated the SAM anti-aircraft defense system shared by both.

If McCain was interrogated by the Soviets through psychological deprivation and other methods,then the Russians would currently have a file on him from that period. McCain has denied that he was ever interrogated by the Soviets.

If,in fact,he was,as his detractors claim,then,as President,he would certainly be a national security risk.
