HEY, anybody heard about THIS?
Voter fraud alert: Houseful of out-of-state Obama activists registered as Ohio voters, received absentee ballots
I first heard about it on Fox News this morning (the people who run the gym keep it on one or more of the tvs, and it happened to be on the one in front of the treadmill I was running on this morning, so I caught a few minutes of it before I remembered it was more entertaining to stare at a spot on the wall below the tv)
I expected something like this, and it doesn’t pass the smell test, but I can’t find anything debunking it yet. So what’s the rest of the story – anybody know?
Think I’m gonna send an email to “Vote From Home 08” and see if they know they’re being linked to this.

Apparently the SoS for Ohio is taking the latest ruling to the Supreme Court. What is the legal process to get this overturned so that the 200,000 registered voters aren’t harassed and suppressed on 4 November?

Of course, Repugs have twisted and hidden election fraud of faulty machines controlled by Repug-backed companies such as Diebold (or whatever they call themselves now), behind voter fraud. HAVA needs repealing in favor more democratic laws of paper ballots and pen, and non partisan counters – Canadian style! Get rid of machines and scanners which can be manipulated and controlled by outside parties.
Had my poll worker training today and here’s what we’ve been told (Ohio): Poll watchers will be assigned to precints, no more than 1 to a precinct. That way the BOE can keep track of who is where. The observers must check in with the Presiding, show their certificate that they have been pre-qualified from the BOE, and show ID with name, address, and provide Phone number. They may OBSERVE ONLY. They MAY NOT CHALLENGE ANY VOTER. ONLY POLL JUDGES ARE ALLOWED TO CHALLENGE. If they are in the way, or abusive, or interfere IN ANY WAY with the election process, they are given ONE warning, then they can be expelled. If they won’t leave, we can call the sheriff. I feel better today having heard this.
