After all these years, believe it or not, it was my first appearance on Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now! this morning. I was happy to appear along with my friend Harvey Wasserman of the great Columbus Free Press to discuss our many concerns about Election Day 2008, touch-screen vote-flipping, voter roll purging, and the woeful effort by the DNC and Obama Campaign to take steps to correct these enormous problems. So happy, in fact, that I almost didn’t mind waking up at 4am to do the show. Almost. I hope you’ll not mind the fuzzy webcam I had to use from my dark, pre-dawn cave this morning during my appearance.
The video follows in three parts, the text transcript is here…
| Part 1: Harvey Wasserman (9:53 mins) | Part 2: Brad Friedman (10:55 mins) |
| Part 3: Brad & Harvey (10:58 mins) | |

FINALLY! The “left” press pays attention! Thanks Amy.
I look forward to seeing the show!
Congratulations, god gig.
Excellent interview! I can’t help thinking though in a civilized country this kind of examination of an issue would be everyday, nothing-special-about-it reporting by the MSM.
Brad is treated with utter respect by the very best! Great television , if I ever saw it! You guys were on it!
Saw the show and was glad Wasserman supported your perspective that the Dems are not doing what one would think they should be doing (but still stnad by my hypothesis of the why regarding their inaction).
So has there been any Dem reaction to your and Wasserman’s wonderment about their inaction?
Darn!
I voted today and filmed it. I don’t know if anybody noticed, but I wasn’t able to get the smoking gun. The printout matched my selections on the screen. Of course this doesn’t mean my vote was recorded correctly.
Bruce Sims asked:
If there is, I certainly haven’t heard about it. Sigh…
Excellent interview. I give Brad a lot of credit for continuing to let the world know loud and clear the dangers we are facing this election, despite the deafening silence from our so-called leaders.
Another theory about the silent Dems: They’ve sold their souls to the devil. The deal is: they keep silent about election fraud, and they will be thrown a bone or two. They speak up, and they will be hounded unmercifully and will get nothing. Whether the neocons can make good on their threats, I don’t know, but perhaps they have been made.
Well, SOME people have to fight. Thank you, Brad.
