The 2010 trouncing will depend on what bills they bring up. If it's vice tax this, ammo, gas tax this and that, something God this, something Gay that, it's over. All they need to do is give the wingnuts something with the 3 "G"'s and the big "T" in it to beat them over the head with.
If they stay on the economy things they'll be OK IMO.

I've got to agree with you on this one. Reid should have waited for the Lt. Gov. to assume office whom, I presume, would appoint Burris anyway. But that would have been Solomonic.
Nancy Pelosi has always struck me as a lightweight and, as we say in Philadelphia, a ditz.
But do not underestimate Obama. He is a South Chicago pol, and they are tough.

i am amazed at how easily most the country seems to believe anything that the current justice department says about anything, including anything fitzgerald says(afterall he did NOT do his duty in the libby case,if he had he would of prosecuted cheney for violations of the presidential records act)
after ovr 4 yrs of wiretaps, justice has yet to file an indictment against gov rod b,i prefer to wait and see the evidence, not to rely on a few quotes from the current corrupt admins tool
gov rod b had fought hard for health care for every child in illlinois and we have it,even tho bushco sued him to stop it
i personally liked gov rod b's plan to tax corps that didnt pay income taxes in illinois to pay for "stuff" but of course the reps hated that idea and so he was a target
as far as harry reid barring burris from the senate,he had no legal grounds and he was foolish to ever try it
i have watched burris in illinois for years and i am happy that he is my new senator
on a separtae subject...i wonder if the same peops that write voting programs wrote the program madoff must of used to send his monthly "statements" to his clients?
[ed note: karen! The spam filter keeps dissing your ass. I have no idea why! I'm sorry. I've been away at the doctor's and Brad must be sleeping.... --99]

Assuming that we have honest, legitimate elections in 2010,all three of these "leaders" can be removed directly by the voters either by primary or in the general election.
It is time to gear up,find the best opponents, and get it done!!!

These three have been the wolves in sheep's clothing, the enemies of progressive values, and in the end, the real obstructionists. But they are by no means the only three that need to go...
Feinstein, Bayh, Kerry, Rockefeller and probably a few others should join that list from the Democratic Senate. Proud as I am that WA is the only state with a woman governor (decisively this time) and two women senators, I certainly think we could do better than the pair of limp noodles we get in Murray and Cantwell.

Better fix this country pretty soon. Lazyness or whiny-ness is unacceptable. JUST DO IT!
You know what's right, and you know what's wrong.
Sitting there going oh well, someone is trying to ban electronics in elections nationally, but they won't do it, so I won't get off my lazy ass and help.
