Ouch...still getting slammed over here.
CNN/Gallup Instant Poll of 511 Voters:
52% Kerry
39% Bush
On CNN "Kerry was the clear winner", on FOX "Bush was the clear winner".
There ya go.

Its so 20th Century to have to *listen* to the debate on the radio... but I digress.
John Kerry did not sound like the challenger, or the opponent, or the man who wants the job. He sounded like the President. This is the man who I want to take the interests of the American people and represent them to the rest of the world.
I have had my doubts about this candidate. Those fears were answered tonight. I couldn't help but think that for every issue we heard about tonight: social security, national security, moving jobs overseas.. these were all problems four years ago. How dare G.W. say that any of these issues will be the focal point of his second term! He's had four years to get some traction on these problems.
Ladies and gentlemen, it will be a close election, but your next president is John Kerry.

Brad, how anyone can trust the online polls when sites like Democratic Underground are trying to have people spam the polls? Especially with notes such as "needs help" so that the polls will be distorted.

I love Vance's reports from the "Radio Debate". Looking forward to your reports of the Kerry/Guilliani debates in '08, Vance!
Troll, nobody can trust them. Nobody should trust them. That's the point. For years the Freepers have been "Freeping" the online polls, and News Channels and Papers were reporting the pushed results as if they meant something. For the first time this year, the Left did it's own "Freeping" of the online polls. I can't believe those sites are still doing those stupid polls. But I'm glad that the Left is finally fighting back.
The poll I reported above, however, was NOT an online poll. It was a legit scientific poll taken by Gallup.

The heads on CNN, after the Gallup results came in, seemed to indicate that Kerry cleaned up.
The heads on FOX seemed to be in the tank (big time) for Bush.
All I've been able to catch so far is the "scandal" that Kerry referred to Cheney's lesbian daughter and Lynne Cheney issuing a statement that "Kerry is not a good man" because of it.
Did Lynne miss the rally she was at when Cheney spoke about having a gay daughter? I don't think she did, because she was there with him as I recall. Anything to win.

Vance, well said.
Brad, is this a joke? " Looking forward to your reports of the Kerry/Guilliani debates in '08".
Or do the republicans already know who their next candidate is..?

Problems for 20 years. Democrats do not want to fix Social Security - they would have nothing to run on.

Here's the thing about the scientific polls. As more of Bush's statements are shown to be horsecrap (an insult, i know, to horsecrap) the polls swing even more to Kerry having won the debate. This happened in the last 2 debates; and will happen in this one.
On top of this, the polls in the battleground states are starting to trend Kerry. Last i checked there were margin of error ties in most battlegrounds and Colorado was coming into play.
The only thing left is for Bush to go full "daddy" and refer to Kerry and Edwards as bozos.
There very fact that both Bush and Cheney have been shown to bethoroughly less than honest in the debates really goes to the heart of their "leadership". Its quite ditsaurbing.
One other thing that needs to be mentioned is that the "moderator" Bob Shieffer is a long time close personal friend of George W. Bush. He plays golf with Bush, attended Rangers games with Bush, his brother TOm was a business partner (on the Rangers) of Bush and is ambassador to Australia.

...And Schieffer is a close personal friend of Hannity as well.
None the less, the media doesn't need to do anything to Bush. He's already done it to himself.
As you smartly point out, John, the lies, distoritions and misleads in the Debates *perfectly* align with the way Bush/Cheney has run their administration for four years. The Debates beautifully exemplified that to the American People in ways that no blogger, fact-checker or Liberal Commentator (if one existed) could have done better.
Bush will have nobody but himself to blame for losing. But that won't stop him from blaming everyone else (the media will be the first target). A few days later, however, the Neandercons will finally realize they did *themselves* in.
