Please Keep It Up!

If you haven't seen my item from yesterday on this, please read it!

My very highly placed source indicates that your letters are helping to encourage Fox to offer more balance on H&C's Monday night (Election Eve) show!

If you haven't already sent a polite note expressing your concern about "Fair and Balance" on their show Monday night, please colmes@foxnews.com, Comments@foxnews.com, mm-tips@mediamatters.org, mm-actions@mediamatters.org, click">TheBradBlog@cville.com\">click here to do so now!

We've received many comments from Rightwingers expressing that they are quite pleased with their guest line-up, thank you, as it was announced on Friday.

We've also received many from Liberals suggesting that since Fox is so far to the Right, what's the point in trying to get them to level their playing field at all?

I will remind you that, no matter what you may feel about Fox "News", more Americans watch them now for Election "News" than any other news outlet! Those are not all Republican zombies! But many of those viewers are highly influenced by the hard-right slant that FNC offers in every facet of their broadcast day. With a race (possibly) this close, levelling the playing field in any way on FNC can only be a plus!

CNN and MSNBC, unfortunately leaning to the Right as well these days, do not offer balance to FNC!

You Democrats, Liberals and Progressives who are foolish enough to simply write-off Fox "News" as a lost and/or useless cause are doing an enormous disservice to yourself and your cause and are behaving precisely as Bush supporters would like you to!

UPDATE 11/1/04: H&C now announcing that Jeb Bush now added to tonight's show!!! colmes@foxnews.com, Comments@foxnews.com, mm-tips@mediamatters.org, mm-actions@mediamatters.org, Write">TheBradBlog@cville.com\">Write those letters!!!

GOOD NEWS UPDATE 11/1/04: Just heard from my source: Terry McAullife now added to show for balance! Your letters are working! Keep it up! You are making a difference!!!

FINAL UPDATE: Victory (mostly)! Final lineup: 2 guests from the Right, 2 from the Left! But H&C managed, incredibly, to skew it to the Right anyway. Click here to read how.

The best way to take down Fox's Hannity & Colmes is to keep e mailing Fox and tell them how bad you think the show is. After the number of complaints grow larger than the good ones, Fox Corp. will start looking to replace the show.

Play the game to their rules; Low ratings shows get cancelled. Fair and Balanced

I was impressed with your John Walsh program today. The young mother who did the traing video for children shoud do one for single mothers. Many of the abuse cases of children are being abused by live-in men in the mother and childs home. It just seems that too many single mothers are willing to sleep with most any man who comes along. When this happens there is little the child can do regardless of her/his training.

So many people are suffering in Mississippi and New Orleans. I feel guilty sitting at home watching TV in my air conidtioned home. What happened to those poor people could have happened to anyone of us. I would be happy to take in family for weeks or months until some type of order is restored to their communities. The government cannot take on this great task fast enough. By private citizens taking in a family for a short time, this will give the government time to rebuild and stableize the communities. Giving monies to the Red Cross is a positive step, taking a family is the ultimate step.

So far, nobody's been able to offer us a single instance of voter fraud as committed by ACORN, or even by any of the 1.3 million registered by them over the past two years. You sure wouldn't know it if you listened to the crazed rightwingers...

VotersUnite.org's Daily Voting News 'Daily Voting News'
For October 15, 2008

by John Gideon

20 days until Election Day.

“Experts” are all speaking out and warning of voting meltdowns across the country. Where were these “experts” six months ago? Where have they been since the last national election? Why have they not spoken out against these same voting systems that they are concerned about now? Of course it wasn’t political for them to take a position against the use of these machines until now.

1-866-OUR-VOTE; 1-866-MY-VOTE1 and now YouTube and WiredNews all want voters to report when they have problems voting. And what will happen with the data collected by these groups? Will any of it be compiled and released after the election? Probably not a lot of it is my guess....
