The truth, and an election system that all Americans (and all the world) can have confidence in is all that we're after, Paul.

I'm telling everyone I know about your site and the possible voter fraud that you're talking about.

There's a lot of people that were willing to give up and just ride the next four years out with our heads down and wait for impending doom. I was one of those people until I found your site.

IF there were wrong doings I for one would really like it exposed. I would also LOVE to see Bush impeached for these acts, if it turns out they are true.

Thank you for doing this.

Brad,

Saw the Blog's frontpage last night on Cooper 360. Was extremely angry about its placement in the line up of stories. What was also interesting is that in the story, the allowed one of the tabulation "errors" to be explained away by election officials as a simple typo even though correcting what they claim was a typo did not give the correct election result and they election officials had earlier explained it differently.

I used to be the biggest fan of CNN Headline News. It WAS great. I used to tune in a couple of times a dayat least before they butchered the show. Their new format is shameful. Have any of you seen Headline News Prime Time or Showbiz Tonight? No these are not new CNN channels, they have turned CNN Headline News into a gossip news station at nightit is just awful.

Basically, rather than having real news, during the nights and I think even sometimes during the day, they have this format that focuses on entertainment news and gossip. It is awful...worse than FoxNews...Actually it is more like The Enquirer meets Fox News

I refuse to watch this garbage. They even constantly have on Rita Cosby (talk about trashy, she is the queen of trash) on to chit-chat about all of the Hollywood trials and everything else that you would read in a Hollywood Gossip column.

This is the opposite of real news. Remember the economy, politics, international affairs? Didnt Headline News used to focus 95% on real news on only about 95% on fluff. How could they think that now people will tune in CNN to see only 5% real news and the rest gossip.

Please, if you have not yet seen prime time tonight...check it out tonight. It is usually on later in the evening. After you have seen this garbage, try telling me that I am wrong.

CORRECTION:

I wrote the previouse email. I mistakingly said they now have on Rita Cosby. I meant NANCY GRACE. NANCY GRACE is a Trashy anchor..not Rita.

My apologies

Headline News gets a new look

For a network that has built its reputation on predictability, CNN Headline News underwent some dramatic changes on Monday.

The network debuted a new prime-time lineup that dispenses with its usual continuous "wheel" of news. Like all-news radio stations, Headline News has run half-hour newscasts throughout the day and evening for its entire 23-year history.

The new lineup includes an hour-long entertainment program, a legal talk show with Nancy Grace as host and an hour-long newscast at 9 p.m.

Translation: Headline News' ratings sag during the evening. But the network is pleased with daytime ratings, and that format is remaining the same.

Grace's show, at 8 p.m., is the highest-profile launch. The former prosecutor is a frequent substitute for Larry King on CNN, and the new schedule allows her to continue this and not compete with King.

Karyn Bryant and A.J. Hammer are the hosts of "Showbiz Tonight" at 7 p.m., the hour many of the syndicated entertainment programs air. Following Grace is a traditional newscast, with Mike Galanos and Erica Hill. The timing is designed to not compete with newscasts on CNN.

CNN Headline News also revamped its onscreen look, making pictures the dominant element on the screen.

VotersUnite.org's Daily Voting News 'Daily Voting News' For September 07, 2008
by John Gideon

Today’s featured article is, again, from Palm Beach Co Florida. The quotes in this article make it clear that failing elections supervisors are going to blame the transition from DRE voting systems to optical-scan voting systems for any failures they encounter this election season.

“It was extremely challenging to make the transition" from touch screens to optical scanning of paper ballots in just three months, Elections Supervisor Arthur Anderson said”. Yes, I’m sure it was a challenge. Just as much a challenge as the successful move from DRE to Optical-Scan accomplished by the state of New Mexico a couple years ago or the same change made by Cuyahoga Co. Ohio prior to this year’s presidential primary. New Mexico and Cuyahoga Co didn’t seem to have anywhere near the problems that Palm Beach Co had.

“[County Judge Barry] Cohen said there were no numbers on the documents he signed to certify the judicial race on Tuesday. County Commissioner Addie Greene said she didn't notice whether vote totals were listed.” This judge has now admitted to signing legal documents without having all of the numbers filled-in. Now, I’m not an attorney but this seems to me to be an admission of misfeasance on the part of a county election official and probably the whole canvassing board on which Mr. Cohen serves.

And then there is this gem; "I decided whatever system (Palm Beach County) buys next time, I'm not buying it," joked Kay Clem, elections supervisor for Indian River County, the only other county in the state with Sequoia equipment. "I feel bad for them, it's tough. I can't imagine dealing with all those paper ballots. It must be a nightmare." This quote from an elections supervisor who allowed an experiment to be done with real votes in a real election and that resulted in over 10,000 votes being mis-reported....
