Fake GOP Front Groups Run by Guys Named Thor & Dyke Make for Good Radio!
(And they put their money on this story breaking into the Mainstream Media...We'll see...)

Once again, the fine folks from Air America's Unfiltered program spent a decent chunk of time yesterday morning chatting about some of the latest BRAD BLOG news. Last time we heard about them going on about us, it was about ourClint Curtis/Raymond Lemme story. This time, they picked up on our new friends Thor and Dyke of the American Center for Voting Rights (the phony GOP front group pretending to give a damn about the rights of voters).

Host Rachel Maddow and her guest, Isaac Davey Aaronson (we hope that's how it's spelled!), chat it up for about 10 minutes and have some very nice things to say about The BRAD BLOG in the bargain.

Here's your pick of the litter: Streaming RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, or MP3 Download.

By the way, we'd still be happy to guest on Unfiltered if they'd like the latest skinny from the actual horse's mouth. Feel free again to suggest it to them! Or to Randi Rhodes or to Al Franken or all the rest of 'em!

(Hat tip to the several folks who shouted out to us about it and to AirAmericaPlace.com for making the bulk of AAR's shows available in the archives!)

For more information on the "non-partisan" tax-exempt ACVR scam and the snakeoil salesmen who invented it, Bush/Cheney '04 National General Counsel Mark F. "Thor" Hearne and RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke, please see BRAD BLOG's full Special Coverage of the "American Center for Voting Rights" at http://www.BradBlog.com/ACVR.

Excellent! Excellent. I like Rachel. They captured the absurdity of it. What a circus!

How wonderful to get this story out so fast. You're on top of it, Brad. Ridin' a good horse.

We should all send these folks e-mails. You're taking off. And even "making the truth fun".

This story reveals the modus operandi of the neocon right in the US today.

It is repeated countless times in countless scenarios.

They have a paranoid fascist mentality which, in nice words, is a "closet case" mentality.

I do not know exactly how it is that closet case gays, Jeff Gannon being the poster boy for them, head these RNC propaganda notions.

In that capacity they even feel justified in promoting anti-gay rhetoric. No principles thwart their incessant subterfuge.

What it also reveals is that their number one functional approach is hypocrital posturing inserted into the MSM news stream in the form of rank propaganda.

Hell, they even have the White House paying for propaganda with taxpayer money. They know no shame nor boundaries.

And second to that is the energy to cover up their operations and underlying intentions.

Factual reality gets lost in this fury of deception that has as its motto "the MSM is liberal".

I agree Unfiltered is great. I have learned so much from the show.

But the shows has been cancelled. Thursday March 31, will be its last day.

Jerry Springer takes over the slot on Friday April 1st.

Again Grats Brad!! Hey believe it or not, I working on other bookings for you. :) will send email.

I don't understand that. Jerry Springer, with the rep for faked shows of red neck trailer trash?

Am I missing something here? Someone please explain (even though Jerry may be ok when not doing dog and pony shows), how is reputation is going to help the credibility of Air America?

Great job Brad! But with everything else that's going on, let's not forget about Iraq. Riverbend has a new posting commemorating the second anniversary of the invasion.

Great job Brad. I know you must be tired, but is it AVCR or ACVR? They might get those tiny little feelings hurt, if we don't get the name right.

Dredd #6 - "They know no shame nor boundaries".
That's right.

Now that they've made fools of themselves, they may try to make fools of us. So, all future stories about their foolish escapades should be checked out thoroughly before publishing, so that we aren't mislead into publishing something untrue and discrediting our side. But, Brad, I'm sure you are being careful - liability, truth and credibility, all those important issues.

Have a good weekend Brad, and don't spend it all in one place!

Jerry Springer filled in for Randi Rhodes while she was recovering from surgery, and apparently he did well.
The credibility of Air America cannot be hurt. They are doing absolutely great, and the audience keeps growing. The hunger for this has been developing for a long time, and the public is ravenous.
There are endless personality changes in talk radio and a lot of experimentation.

Brad, did you do the radio show with the conservative scheduled for thursday the 24th?

Yup, DKD! I did! And it was a hoot! Battle Line with Alan Nathan.

My capture of the show failed however :-( But I've requested a copy so I can get it online asap! It was a not-down-drag-out 30 minutes! Hope to get it posted here soon!

Just finished up a *delightful* hour with Dr. Stan of Radio Liberty (Government funded!) and he's a Republican. It was one of my favorites so far. Hope to post it later tonight or tomorrow. Unfortunately, we agreed on everything (unlike Alan Nathan and I)

ACVR "news" releases are made through U.S. Newswire which is owned by www.medialink.com whose ceo is
Laurence Moskowitz. The man behind the curtain.

Brad, I wonder if this was because of me. I posted all over mediamatters, randi rhodes blog, & al franken's blog yesterday, that they "better get their asses in gear and start following the ACVR story on the BRAD Blog".......I posted huge posts to each of their blogs.....

The reason I say this, is that I read a great story on BRAD BLOG, then a different great story on mediamatters, then another one on Air America Radio, buzzflash, etc... But look what happens when they all chime in together on the same story? It's thunderous! That's how the right works, they all chime in unison.

Congrats to your blog. Since this is comment #24 on this thread, you now have more commenters than that stupid Air America has listeners. I am always amazed at who you libs will attach to if they just say something you want to hear. Randi Rhodes? Al Franken? Typical role models for a bunch of liberals. They don't have 1/10th the audience of Greta Van Sustren (and I can't stand her either), for crying out loud. Get a life, libs.

It's nice to hear there's somebody on Air America still interested in election fraud. Al Franken is apparently the biggest star on Air America but he has no interest in addressing the election fraud of the 2004 U.S. presidential election issue --- unless Bill O'Reilly somehow gets involved.

I might just tune Air America in again if they keep on this story.

I read your page. I also read ac4vr's report, both of which I found on google. What I'd like to know is, despite the dispute on the partianship or not of the people who created the report. What facts are you disputing? I live in Philadelphia and personally witnessed union workers attempting to intimidate Republican poll workers. My mother worked as a poll worker in York Pa. She's 70, and she witnessed and was the victim of the same thing. I'm a Libertarian so I read everything, my question is, are you disputing the accounts?

If so, I can tell you I saw it for myself. In fact one union guy told me he point blank he had my liscense number and was going to find out where I lived. I thought this was very cute and gave him a response I don't care to repeat in print.

Will Air America EVER explain what they did with that $850,000 they stole from Girls and Boys Clubs? A story which the main stream media has managed to bury....

VotersUnite.org's Daily Voting News 'Daily Voting News'
For October 15, 2008

by John Gideon

20 days until Election Day.

“Experts” are all speaking out and warning of voting meltdowns across the country. Where were these “experts” six months ago? Where have they been since the last national election? Why have they not spoken out against these same voting systems that they are concerned about now? Of course it wasn’t political for them to take a position against the use of these machines until now.

1-866-OUR-VOTE; 1-866-MY-VOTE1 and now YouTube and WiredNews all want voters to report when they have problems voting. And what will happen with the data collected by these groups? Will any of it be compiled and released after the election? Probably not a lot of it is my guess....
