Personal Stuff, Late-Breaking Downing Street Stuff and a Belated Sunday Toon of the Moment...

As usual, on Monday morning, after taking a few hours off yesterday, I'm beseiged with stuff that I must catch up on. I'm doing my best to do so, and hope to be making some noise here soon. In the meantime, a couple of personal mop-up items from the weekend...

  • Yesterday's hour in-studio at KRLA with Barry Gordon (and friends) was a lot of fun. We had some time --- in a bit of a round-table format --- to talk about how I started blogging, a bit of BRAD BLOG history, as well as Election Reform, DSM matters and, of course, some shots at the Mainstream Corporate Media. On that note, it shouldn't be mentioned that KRLA, a major Los Angeles Talk Radio station, home to Dennis Prager, Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, Michael Medved and other despicables and liars from the Right devotes precisely one-hour per week to the Left. And that would be Barry's show. If that isn't an argument to re-instate the Fairness Doctrine on the airwaves, I don't know what is.

I had hoped to add on air, but time didn't allow, that Barry was very helpful when I was speeding back to Los Angeles from my time on the road a month or so ago, when I was trying to find a homebase studio for The BRAD SHOW. I can't thank him enough for that simple act of kindness, support and generosity. So I'll simply thank him here and now.

Barry, himself, is a tremendously interesting guy. If you're not familiar with his name, please allow me to embarrass him a bit, by suggesting that you check out his Bio. I'm quite sure that it will trigger precisely who Barry is to most of you folks. I suspect everybody reading this blog has likely both seen and heard Barry at some point in your lives.

The archive from yesterday's hour, if you missed it, is right here in MP3 format courtesy, as usual, of our friend DonM.

  • The full audio archives of last Saturday's BRAD SHOW are now available here. All of the techincal errors that occurred during the live broadcast are nowhere to be found. And there is some terrific interviews there for your listening pleasure if you missed anything. So enjoy.
  • We've received word from HuffingtonPost that the removal of this blog from their blogroll was an unintentional error. Apparently, their Blogroll reverted to an old pre-launch version at some point last week. They've informed us that BRAD BLOG will soon be restored to it's proud position at HuffPost. Thanks to all of you who let them know about the problem.
  • Finally, Larisa Alexandrovna's latest breaking Downing Street story is now up on RAW STORY as we first alluded to as the news broke during the show on Saturday when the latest Sunday London Times article by Mike Smith (the Brit journalist who broke the original 'Downing Street Memo' story) dropped. Smith gave an appropriate nod to Larisa in his story, stating that "The bloggers may have found their own smoking gun." Indeed. It's about time someone noticed.

Larisa's latest story, with John Byrne, tracks how the Bush Administration had started the War on Iraq months before they received the official go-ahead from Congress, by attempting to taunt Saddam into a fighting back at a massive aerial assault. Her story includes this useful graph of the aerial bombardment prior to the "official" start of war.

  • And lastly...since I didn't post it in time, here's a belated Sunday Toon of the Moment for ya...
  • Buzz this story! C2NN: Submit it!

Subj: MI5 confirms DSM was connected to coup/martial law in US and planned invasion of Syria and Iran

This will help you put DSM in context. The 9-11 has been publicly confirmed by MI5 to have been a coup and martial law. DSM was part of the documents to lead to a wider invasion to include Syria and Iraq.

DSM is merely the smoking gun of the post-coup efforts. There are more issues surfacing real time. [ More . . . ]

Do ya think V.P. Cheney is going to retire, claiming he has heart problems and 'wants to spend more time with his family'? If so, what's the law regarding who would replace him? Could they pick someone like Jeb Bush or would it have to follow the line of succession which puts the leaders of the House and Senate in?

Why haven't we seen any MSM reports on Cheney? Oh, wait, we never will. Sorry for assuming for a split second they could ever be informative or put the public interest above all else.

    MarkH,

Glad you asked. The President gets to pick, according to 25th Amendment: Section 2, but the House [not just the Senate] has to agree by majority vote.

Meaning: If there's a big change in the House or a signficianct number of defections in the wake of the DMS hearings, there could be some surprises. They've already voted against Bush on the Patriot Act . . . LOL

Here's the catch: If the replacement gets delayed too long, and Bush's nomination is linked to the coup/DSM/war crimes, the Senate could filibuster or the House could vote down his choice, and demand a suitable alternative: Someone who has the Constitution as their number one priority.

It depends on how many RNC-defections there are between now and when Bush announces a replacement: They could theoretically demand Bush put a Democrat in as VP as a check on his power. [Again, this is all speculation]

The current #1 on the speculation list for appointments to replace Cheney is Rice. [More . . . ]

    Brad,

The Huffington Post replied to my question about your blog removal from their Blogroll. Their response:

[It is a technical problem, we are putting it back up. The site reverted to a blogroll we had before the launch in the beginning of last week – it is nothing related to bradblog… we are working it out, it should be back up soon.]

Very nice of them to respond. Your site is very informative and I try to let as many people as possible know about your good work. Thanks.

    To Constant #1

You don't seem to allow comments on your blog, so I will post here.

Now as people here probably know, I'm a 9-11 sceptic - so please take this in the spirit its intended.

Your headline is misleading - Shayler is a former MI5 agent - he left in 1996, so he cannot really 'confirm' anything about the DSM - he can only speculate. It's a bit like saying that when Ray McGovern spoke about 9-11 on the Brad Show a couple of weeks ago, that the "CIA confirm 9-11 was inside job". It should read "Ex-MI5 Agent says DSM was connected to coup/martial law in US and planned invasion of Syria and Iran".

Another innaccuracy in the blog is that Shayler was to run against Blair. He may have decided at that point (18 March) to run, but ultimatley the anti-war candidate that ran against Blair was Reg Keys, who's son died in Iraq. (The election was on May 5th this year - and Keys got 4,200 votes to Blair's 24,000. Keys also spoke briefly at the DSM hearing.)

Small errors like this do not reflect well on the blog, I'm sorry.

Anyway, some stuff you may want add to the blog are the audio of the Jones/Shayler interview here Mp3 - via 9-11 Blogger, one of the best 9-11 sites, along with 911 Truth.

And also, via 9-11 Blogger once again, a roundtable discussion on 9-11 featuring David Ray Griffin, Alex Jones, Peter Lance and Mike Levine aswell as an interview with Moragn Reynolds.

Also, last night Jones interviewed Paul Craig Roberts on his show, and discussed the WTC demolition theory with two other guests. Audio is here - via Prison Planet.

I should point out that I am not a fan of Alex Jones, though I do listen to his show now and then. I think Ralph Schoenman's analysis is probably closer to the truth than Jones' "NWO/Illuminati/Occulist/Communist" theories.

Small problem. Information he used is based on what he had access to prior to departure; and this analysis is the fruit of MI5-trained skills.

Further, he's still associated with MI5 with a gag order. The ongoing relationship is important to review in terms of credibility of the assessments. There is more discussion on this important point.

There's alot more that backs up the headline that MI5 is conforming they know of the coup. If you want to read more of the MI5 knowledge of this coup and subsequent confirmations, you're free to read the blog. Look to the bottom for the discussion "Some might believe. . . " [ More . . . ]

You can quibble, but MI5 knows what happened. Their conduct is confirmation per the rules of evidence.
