What a great idea!

Hooray for us all!

I just want to say how much I appreciate this Blog. I've learned a lot from Brad's investigations, from the breaking news he posts, and from the news, links and thoughtful, funny and provocative comments posted by other visitors/bloggers here.

I'm much better informed as a result of what happens on this website, and it's much appreciated.

I just came back from surfing other blogs and discovered a snarky post at Hoffmania about being approached for a Blogathon. He wonders why blogging doesdn't cost HIM more and what he is doing wrong.

I didn't offer a comment, but if I had it would have been something along the lines of this: that Brad (whose name he didn't mention) is a full-time blogger and activist who, in addition to needing some income just to live has travel expenses, expensive air-time fees (The BradShow), etc. etc. etc.

Anyway, I've always enjoyed that site, mainly for its cartoons; but it isn't an in-depth research site like this one, so there isn't any comparison. And I'm miffed!

Please visit The Brad Store which is NOW OPEN!!, and spend a few dollars protecting what's left of your democracy!!

Or ... Make A Donation via PayPal if you do't feel like buying anything!!

Either way it costs you a few bucks, but we think it's worth it --- and that's why we're here!

Peg C. --

Some folks have all the disdain for hard working people with vision. Don't let them bother you, they are jealous under-achievers.

In looking at the Bradstore I wondered if you have a picture and price for the Brad bobblehead doll.
Also the Fractal Art by Peg C. I can't quite make out just what it is and the size. Also how much is it? Please provide more information on the Fracttal Art.

Harvey #6 --
We don't have a photo of the Bobblehead yet. Soon I hope.

The bobblehead will not be for sale during the Blog-athon but will be paired with certain donations. It is a work in progress so bear with us as we figure it all out. Most items will be available after the Blog-athon but some prices may increase.

The Fractal Art page is up and has the image size along the top of each image and the name below. $2 donation gets your choice by punching the button and including the image name you want in the payment form. If you have trouble reading the text on that page let me know because I put it together on a non-Windows computer.

Have fun!

Torqued -

Thanks for the thanks! Harvey is maybe confused because the "titles" only include the first word in them. I'll be glad to supply the REAL titles.

Harvey -

The images may be used as desktops/wallpapers or combined as screen-savers using your own software. Time was of the essence!!

VotersUnite.org's Daily Voting News 'Daily Voting News' For August 27, 2008
by John Gideon

Today Premier/Diebold has again had to accepted the blame for voting machine failures. This time the optical scan machines that had tallied absentee ballots in Sarasota County would not upload the totals to the main server and refused to post elections in Hillsborough County. Election officials in Sarasota ended-up having to count 10,000 ballots by hand. It is a good thing they had the paper ballots to count by hand or those votes would have been lost....
