Blogged by Brad on the Road...

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram picks up on our previous report about Hart InterCivic / Tarrant County, TX election software whistleblower William Singer.

Does the "Startlegram" give any love to The BRAD BLOG in their article? Despite an hour or two on the phone with them after they called for deets and a hook-up with our source last week? Not a jot.

But we're not in it for the love. We're in it for the big bucks.

Glad someone is picking it up. They should have credited your outstanding reporting, Brad.

They didn't give Singer the opportunity to rebut the false "disgruntled employee" story.

This story is of huge importance and IMO one of the most important BradBlog has reported. I was hoping for several more follow-up stories to help it develop legs. Are there some new angles that we can hope for coming out of this?

Brad and Catherine A

We need to step back and give the conservative republicans some space.

They are experiencing a conspiracy theory.

A real thang like the folk in Tennessee who do not know how to analyze a wonderful, motherly, kindly, goodly, and human, being who shot her husband minister for no apparent reason.

It does not compute. So give them some space.

Remember how you were when all of a sudden you were no longer a virgin ... no longer a citizen of a perfectly heavenly country (that could do no wrong) ... a country that only brought good to the rest of the world?

Before rubbers?

Well, even tho I have some disdain, some anger, some "you fucking republican dictator" feelings ... still, we all go thru the same thing when we ask Alice, when we WERE ten feet tall.

Don't we?

Here a Republican Texas Supreme Court Justice had received, 74%, then 65%, of the vote (what a sick fucking system that votes judges in ... anyway) ...

and then all of a sudden a good pal of the bushlings "decides to run", and this Texas Supreme Court Justice gets zero votes!!!!!! Can you believe they have the balls to give him ZERO fucking votes????

My lady said ... "I have lived in Texas all my life and this dog won't hunt".

Listen Brad and Catherine A, I luv ya and I know you have great and wonderful integrity, but ... let some Texas sun shine on this ... let them figure this out ... and when they do ... we will both try to restrain them ...

BECAUSE ....

THERE IS GOING TO BE A HANGING !!!!

Yabbut...Dredd, there IS such a thing as established journalistic ethics and crediting one's sources. That part is indisputable. Otherwise, I take your point. The poor widdle disillusioned bad ole boys have some reality to face - dare we call it "soul-searching?" Or is that a stretch?

Peg C

Plagarism could be a form of admiration or flattery.

Larisa over at Raw Story has the same complaint that Brad has (link here).

I guess that Brad and Larissa have been flattered, however, it is still undone.

AP/MSM should take note that their plagarism is noted.

And they should remember that like the blogger who had to quit WaPo because of it, we will be watching their future too.

And we expect them to acknowledge the good work of Brad and of Larissa!!!!

Or in the future when they get ready to step up, their plagarism will be brought up for review.

Dredd -

You beat me to it again - came to post about Larissa!

Note that near the end of her article she does in fact mention BradBlog as one of the sites ripped off. Also gives Brad credit as the one "who has exposed Diebold's election tampering more than anyone else"

VotersUnite.org's Daily Voting News 'Daily Voting News'
For October 15, 2008

by John Gideon

20 days until Election Day.

“Experts” are all speaking out and warning of voting meltdowns across the country. Where were these “experts” six months ago? Where have they been since the last national election? Why have they not spoken out against these same voting systems that they are concerned about now? Of course it wasn’t political for them to take a position against the use of these machines until now.

1-866-OUR-VOTE; 1-866-MY-VOTE1 and now YouTube and WiredNews all want voters to report when they have problems voting. And what will happen with the data collected by these groups? Will any of it be compiled and released after the election? Probably not a lot of it is my guess....
