Gay News Site Notes Queer Lack of Response on Extremists Felonious Voter Registration Application

Mike Rogers at PageOneQ, a gay online news site, has an interesting and amusing exclusive today based on our own exclusive last Tuesday featuring Ann Coulter's Felonious Florida Voter Registration Application.

The particular angle that PageOneQ focuses on today, came up briefly during a short appearance I made on The Stephanie Miller Show yesterday morning. The three-minute MP3 can be downloaded here or listened to below...

This part of the story is largely an amusing curiosity, of course. Not unlike Coulter herself. Though in truth, she is far more dangerous to America and it's values than a mere "amusing curiosity". Which is just one of the reasons why we follow her destructive antics from time to time here at The BRAD BLOG. To that end, I may have more substantive news and/or opinion on her alleged Voter Fraud Felony soon.

Buzz this story! C2NN: Submit it!

I'ts always great to add a little bit of levity to such a serious issue as election reform. And to do so with Coulter, who exploits every nuance of an issue, whether it's substantive or not, well... turn about is fair play!

To add more fuel to the fire regarding Ms.[?] Coulter's voter registration form, The Raw Story reports that she neglected to fill out the portion of the form dealing with gender. She did not check off a box indicating either male or female. Calls at her office and at Fox "News" asking for her comment regarding this discrepancy were not returned.

Ann Coulter deserves to be fried by Brad Blog. She is an outspoken hate-monger, and with that, comes the hammer when you do something hypocritical. That is why she should be fried on Brad Blog. People like her, who are loudmouth outspoken, get fried loudly, and justly so. Her whacko followers think it's OK for her to spread hate, but then are surprised and try to defend her when she obviously breaks a law and is a hypocrite. You can't have it both ways.

She has all the shallow wrongwingers thinking she is beautiful, but they're fooled by the long blonde hair. That's why I like BVAC's picture of her, sans hair. It shows what she really looks like, and probably drives wrongwingers crazy! I said she looks like hoagie-head Todd Rundgren.

Do they let you dye your hair when you're in jail? She better hope she doesn't go to jail long enough for her blonde hair to grow out. She'll be in jail, with all the "ragheads" she degrades all the time. She better watch out if she goes to jail. When's it time for her to start worrying?

BradBlog is obviously at a loss for material. She didn't fill out her race either, or any of the other categories listed near gender. You are truly grabbing for crumbs in your hatred of Coulter. There is no story here!

Brad-

You are right. I had initially thought your column was in reference to Ms. Coulter's foul up with not listing her residence on her voter registration form. Somehow, I did not see the link that you provided to the article regarding the question of gender on Ms. Coulter's voter registration form. Credit my faux pas with being a bit under the weather today, contributing to my inability to focus on the task at hand. To paraphrase Dickens, a bit of indigestion can indeed affect one's senses.

poor person who can read but can't reason..

I think you're doing what trolls and GOP front dillholes and neo-cons do when there's no way to justify the bullshit that's going on in the face of facts that contradict you/them/it..

Ann is likely going to (or should, if the courts don't pander to another rich person, sparing them the humiliation of punishment for violations of the law.. only those "poor trashy" people deserve to be punished for violations, right?) get in trouble for LYING on her VOTER REGISTRATION FORM.. and why it's PERTINANT is, she's the cunt that loves to "bash on them stupid liberals who can't figure out how to fill out their forms" or "can't figure out how to run a ballot". Get it?

Biggest Faux Paux (sp) ever!

so you sit here and try to pick a fight with those having a GOOD BELLY LAUGH over this bitch for putting her foot so squarely in her/his/it's mouth?

Talk to the points.. she LIED about her residence. Spin that, dipshit.

You liberals just don't get it. You are irrelevant in today's political scene. Your pot smokin hippie ponytail parents of the seventies are dead or almost all dead. Liberal college professors, spewing anti-american hate and venom are being called to account finally. Common Sense and morality is in the process of reclaiming its place in American history. Get over it. If you want to live a post-modern secular humanist life, then either get with the program, or move to a great country like France. It will suit you just fine. As our founding fathers said on thousands of occasions, May God Bless America.

Hey Brad,
Please change the spelling of opinion to Opinion. Miss-spelling words in a headline makes you look bad.

Making fun of Ann Coulter should not lead to the distraction of making fun of your spelling. Feel free to delete this suggestion after you make the change.

It's interesting to note that the registration form published recently by Brad had been accepted despite its errors and omissions while thousands of other Florida voter-registration forms were rejected prior to the 2004 election because of minor errors. In 2004, a correctly filled-out registration form I submitted in Florida was ignored, lost or discarded by our local Supervisor of Elections, and to get registered I had to fill out another one at the elections office and demand a receipt from the desk clerk.

Well, Mike...Bush is at 33% or 36% in the polls, depending on which one you trust. Cheney is somewhere around 18%, and just got booed off the pitcher's mound at RFK Stadium on Opening Day.

So it would appear that it's YOU and your brethren who just don't get it. I'll give you credit for one thing, though...talking as if you're in the mainstream, when you're really up some tributary without a paddle, is brave. Dumb, maybe...but brave. You might consider signing up for Iraq duty.

My Dad came home from World War II with a Purple Heart. I was four years old when he came home, and hadn't seen him in 2-1/2 years at that point.

By the way, Mike...World War II was the last war fought with the support of most Americans. Your
right-wing, Fox Network/Limbaugh-style effort to portray opponents of the war in Iraq as grown-up hippies hardly jibes with the facts. Then again, nothing jibes with reality where Iraq is concerned, as we see more clearly with each passing hour.

As much as I enjoy the gender issue with Ann the Man, I can tell you there is a photo of HER during her college years and she is a red headed woman with a long neck and a poor self image as typified by republican matrons like Phyllis Schafly.

BB2 and JOJ - you guys are cracking me up! (BTW, Icky, I forgot to mention that not only did I serve my country in the 60s, both of my parents were officers in Naval Intelligence during WWII.) Now, please tell me, if her foot's in her mouth, and her kneecap's in her throat, where is her chin, or nosae, whatever? We should all send her a thank-you note for the few rare moments of comic relief! A bit off the subject, this is the first day in Prague that has felt really spring-like, which is extraordinarily late for this town. In fact, we just had the coldest winter in 36 or something years, and it exceeded everything on record before that fluke year. The fact is that the Gulf Stream is broken, and Europe will soon be unlivable for most of the year. Pity, eh? At least it's really sweet out today, my hyacinths are blooming and perfuming the office right now...

Here in California during February, which normaly is wet and has an average daytime high of 58-60 degrees, it was dry and in the mid 70's. Since the beginning of March we have had only about 14 days without rain and it's been 10-12 degrees below normal. March broke the record for most rainy days. The rivers are running at or near flood warning stage and some flooding has occured. The only thing averting major flooding is the fact that there were breaks in the rain at just the right times to let the rivers receed a little before the next rain. Seattle which is Known for its very wet climate had 5 rain days in March.
Agriculture and construction have been hit hard. The fields which should be in the planting stage right now are unworkable due to the saturated soil.

I guess I should have said Sacramento, CA as there are many micro-climates in the state. From southern coastal areas where it's in the high 70's to low 80's during the winter to the High Sierra where it can be well below zero and areas have over 30 feet of snow.

VotersUnite.org's Daily Voting News 'Daily Voting News'
For December 04, 2008

by John Gideon

The Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) was signed into law in Oct. 2002. Amongst other things HAVA required the formation of the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) and provided some mandates, in Title III of the law, for federal elections including some standards for voting systems. Those standards include, but are not limited to, accessibility for voters with disabilities and accuracy in the vote count. Testing by experts in accessibility has shown that none of the Direct Recording Electronic (DRE, usually touch-screen) voting systems presently in use meet the requirements for accessibility for disabled voters. Failures in testing and vote counting in real elections have also proven that, at times, the voting systems presently being used across the country do not meet the federally mandated requirements for accuracy.

So what guidance has been provided by the EAC to the states with regards to Title III? Well, actually none. In fact even though voting systems presently in use do not meet federal law the EAC is just now getting around to issuing guidance to state and local election officials and, according to the draft of the plan ‘featured’ below, it is going to take another two years before the EAC can complete the guidance.

Why can’t they just tell the vendors and the states that the law is clear and, if they fail to follow that law, violations will be referred to the DoJ? The fact that the vendors misrepresent their products as being accessible is a clear violation of the law. It is time they are held responsible and it doesn’t take two years of studying Title III of HAVA to make that clear....
